Those who have their eyes peeled, however, can spot it while passing by a beautiful vista and a reading spot near Troskowitz. Where to Find the Lord of the Rings Easter Egg in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To begin their journey, players need tohead to the village of Troskowitz. Once in the village,follow a path leading northeast. It should take players to a place of interest called “Bench Under Trosky.” Players will know they’re in the right area if they see a tree on top of a hill with a bench underneath it.
The place of interest is just north of the orchard, with a house filled with apples.
The area has a road cutting alongside a hill with a retaining wall on the east side of it. Players should walk along the road,facing the retaining wall, and keep their eyes out for a rabbit hole placed a few feet from the base of the tree and into the hill. The rabbit hole has a little rounded door, and with the roof being made of grass, it definitely looks a lot like a certain famous Hobbit hole in Bag End.
If players continue to move down the road, they’ll spot a few more rabbit holes on the other side of the path leading up to the tree and bench area. These two rabbit holesdon’t have little wooden doors, meaning that they’re just basic rabbit holes that also look a bit like Hobbit homes.
That indicates that the rabbit hole with the door is a clear reference to Bag End fromThe Lord of the Rings. It may be a bit too tiny for a Hobbit to live in, but it’s likely making some rabbit happy.
Spotting this particular Easter egg can be pretty tough, since the grass covers a good portion of the rabbit hole.
One of the most famous landmarks in The Shire inThe Lord of the Ringsis the party tree. The tall tree at the top of the hill could certainly reference that as well. As a whole, the hill and the little Hobbit holes carved into it are an adorable nod to The Shire in Middle-earth.
If players continue up the path to the tree and bench, they’re also treatedto an incredible viewthat is Shire-like as well. The vista opens up to a series of fields and a sleepy village. It also makes for a perfect reading spot since players can geta bonus to their Scholarship skillby sitting on the bench.
