TheSouth ParkSeason 27 trailerconfirms thatthe show is coming back on July 9, though it stopped short of revealing how many episodes the new season will feature. The trailer showsRandy Marshdeveloping a ketamine habit, the town of South Park in flames in a manner not unlike the LA fires, the Statue of Liberty being pulled down, Canada seemingly going to war with the US, and planes crashing in midair. The trailer also shows a sci-fi adventure that will bring back fan-favorite character Starvin' Marvin and will apparently even feature P. Diddy. One scene features Kyle seemingly transforming into a turkey, so it doesn’t seem like the new season ofSouth Parkis going to shy away from the show’s typical absurdist humor.
When is South Park Season 27?
The return of Starvin' Marvin is likely going to attract the attention of longtimeSouth Parkfans. The character first appeared inSouth Park’s very first season and returned in Season 3 where he ended up leaving Earth to live with aliens called Marklars. Starvin' Marvin’s appearances have been few and far between since then, which makes his appearance in the Season 27 trailer all the more exciting.
