It’s a big movie for the studios, especially since Gunn has confirmed that they won’t be using Robert Pattinson’s Batman and will be casting someone else in that role. The potential risks involved in that decision have only increased the pressure on Corenswet as Superman is DC Studios' other primary IP, and if the franchise is going to work, then he needs to be at the heart of it.
