The Straw Hats Vs. Kizaru Is One Of The Most Important Fights In One Piece

The last couple of episodes had been building towards a fight between Luffy and Kizaru. The two characters know each other from their previous encounters.Luffy was humiliated by the Admiralon Sabaody Archipelago. The feeling of being powerless affected Luffy mentally, which is why he dedicated himself fully to training. He did not want to go through the traumatic experience ever again.

When Luffy sensed Kizaru’s presence, he did not waste any time in attacking the Admiral. He wanted to send a message that the Straw Hats were no longer weaklings and had grown 100 times stronger. Given their history, it’s unsurprising that Luffy was so eager to fight Kizaru. Luffy started the fight with Gear 4 Snakeman, which was a great choice, especially since it is his fastest form. Initially, Luffy’s attacks gave Kizaru some trouble, but it didn’t take long for the latter to understand the patterns.Ultimately, Kizaru kicked away Luffyand sent him crashing into the barrier.

Luffy Vs. Kizaru Was A Spectacle

Toei Animation Once Again Surpassed Fans' Expectations

Some fans were disappointed with Luffy’s initial showing, but it was rather apparent that the hero was holding back. Crashing into the barrier probably made Luffy realize that he couldn’t afford to go easy, which is why he returned with Gear 5th, grabbed Kizaru, and threw him away.

The Admiral was flummoxed, but he collected himself and used his Devil Fruit to avoid crashing into the water body. Kizaru returned to Labophase in some style. He used the Pika Pika no Mi to create multipleclones of himself and began attacking Luffy. For a moment, Luffy even confused them with Perona’s Hollows. The clones functioned separately and didn’t require any direct orders from Kizaru. They also seemed to be impervious to Luffy’s Armament Haki.

One of the clones managed to make a cut on Luffy’s cheek, which shows that they are extremely powerful. Just when these clones were starting to give Luffy some trouble, he used Dawn Stamp to take them all out.

The Final Phase Of The Fight Is Starting

The episode ended with Kizaru trying to attack Vegapunk, which was intercepted by Luffy. This allowed the scientist to leave Labophase and override the commands of the Pacifista. With the Pacifista turning on the Marines, the odds are back in favor of the heroes.

However, it will all be for naught if Luffy doesn’t beat Kizaru quickly. He knows that time is running out and things could become worse if he doesn’t end the fight quickly. It’s not even a question of whether Luffy can beat Kizaru. Luffy has what it takes to beat the Admiral, but he’s been toying with him. Kizaru may have realized it as well, which is why he decided to shift focus midway through the battle.

If this is the best you can do, don’t expect to get a chance to go up against our captain. —Roronoa Zoro

Aside from Kizaru and Luffy’s duel, there is another big fight taking place onEgghead Island, and it involves Zoroand Lucci. So far, Zoro has managed to hold his own against Lucci, but he must be wary because the CP0 agent has a history of attacking whenever the opponent’s guard is down. Both Zoro and Lucci are not holding back, as evidenced by their battle. Zoro is using the King of Hell, which is his most powerful technique. Meanwhile, Lucci is using his Devil Fruit Awakening, which significantly increases his physical strength. Since the two are so evenly matched, it might take a long time for the fight to end.
