Summary

InZOIdeveloper Krafton has released a new hotfix update that makes several gameplay changes and bug fixes, including an adjustment to the aging speed of Zois. While life simulation fans are lovingInZOI, the early access game still has a long way to go in terms of new content and gameplay updates. Thankfully, one of players' most requested adjustments has already been made by Krafton.

AsInZOIis still an early access title, plenty of new features, gameplay changes, and content have yet to be introduced. While Krafton initially aimed to update the game with new content approximately once every two months, director Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim recently revealed somechanges toInZOI’s original roadmap. Due to the high volume of feedback received from the game’s community, Krafton is now aiming to focus more on bug fixes and gameplay adjustments in the game’s early stages. The director went on to explain that the team is aiming to release multiple hotfixes throughout April, with the first set of changes and fixes now live in-game.

On April 1, Krafton stayed true to its word and released the firstInZOIhotfix update for the month, making a handful of gameplay adjustments and bug fixes. Some of the most notable changes in the update have made some highly requested adjustments to the aging system. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further down this article, Krafton has adjusted the lifespan rules so that only Zois in the senior age category can now pass away from natural causes. The studio has also updated the lifespan rules to allow players to spend more timewith their created Zois, something that fans have been requesting since the game’s early access launch on March 28.

Unfortunately, these changes only affect Zois that were created after the newest hotfix update, so existing characters will still have shorter lifespans. The latest update also makes a couple of bug fixes, including one that was resulting in clothing remaining dirty or damaged after being washed and another that wascausing the game to crash for someInZOIplayers. Krafton noted that it is still investigating the E01 and E04 errors that occur when players upload to Canvas, but further fixes and improvements are on the way.

inZOI delays early access release date

With the recent adjustments toInZOI’s roadmap, it’s unclear if Krafton is still targeting its previously mentioned dates for new content updates. While fans will have plenty of new hotfix updates over the next few weeks, the developer’sinitial post-launch roadmap forInZOIstated that the first major content update will be released in May, featuring a mod kit, changes to weight and muscle adjustments, in-game cheat codes, relationship improvements, an adoption system, and much more. A free DLC is then planned to release in August, followed by even more content updates in the months after.
