The game’s newest update seeks to make the treasure-hunting even smoother, with Update 4 now available forIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Update 4 brings with it a plethora of changes and upgrades to the baseIndiana Jones and the Great Circleexperience, with one of the biggest additions being two new Adventure Books. These give Indy special options during combat, with the “Open Season” book allowing him to dish out more damage with his whip and the “Sleight of Hand” book letting Indy pull an enemy’s weapon toward him after disarming them with the whip. The whip isone of several ways to deal with enemies inThe Great Circle, but it’s one of the most versatile, also serving as a traversal tool.
The update also addresses a number of bugs inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, such as one that would cause some medicine bottles to be unavailable for use and one that saw Gina use the wring animations when crouching. Other fixes addressThe Great Circle’s gameplay, specifically making the transition between ledge hanging and whip swinging smoother.
This update comes a little more than a week before thePS5 release ofIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, which will allow even more players to experience the richly detailed action/adventure experience crafted by MachineGames. The PS5 version launches on April 17, though players can get early access starting on April 14 if they preorder.Indiana Jones and the Great Circleis set to receive a big chunk of DLC content at a later, undisclosed date, so adventurers should stay alert and keep their whip at the ready.
