One Piece Fan Counts Every Single Panel And Finds Out Who Oda Draws The Most
One Piece is quite a long series, having begun serialization almost 3 decades ago now. The manga has over 1100 chapters at the moment, with no sign of slowing down anytime soon. In fact,One Pieceis unlikely to end before another 6+ years based on the rate Oda is going at and how much of the story is left to deal with. Naturally, Oda continues to illustrate the beautiful journey of the Straw Hat Pirates in his story.
For now, a One Piece fan has done something quite amusing. They have counted every panel inOne Pieceand determined which character Oda draws the most. This person is X user @OnePiece5632.
Thanks to the efforts of this individual, fans can now see the top 12 characters with the most appearances in One Piece. This ranking is statedto be up until the Elbaf arcinOne Piece, so anything before it counts, meaning it covers chapters from 1 and 1125 of the manga.
Unsurprisingly to most fans, Luffy makes the most appearances, and by a long shot. Luffy appears in about 17,435 panels so far, which is about 10,000 more than the number 2.
On that note, number 2 is, to many people’s shock, actually Nami. Nami has 7,963 panels, which is a good distance from number 3.
Sanji is third, which again, shocked fans. Sanji’s panel count is 7449.Zoro, who many fans were expecting to be second, makes it in fourth place, not much behind Sanji. Zoro has received 7406 panels. This small gap could be made up for in Elbaf. But for now, Zoro is behind Sanji. The second spot is very far for Zoro, however. Even if he shines in Elbaf, Nami will definitely get some spotlight as well, which basically makes it impossible for him to take the #2 spot. In fact, he might likely stay as the fourth-placed one.
The 5th spot on this list is actually not too far behind either when compared to the others, and it’s Usopp, with 7,101 panels.
After that, the panel count drops very fast, with Chopper in 6th place, Nico Robin in 7th place, Franky in 8th place, Brook in 9th place, and Trafalgar Law in 10th place. Law is the only non-Straw Hat who made it into the top 10.
The 11th and 12th places go to Vivi and Jinbei respectively. Jinbei is the only Straw Hat who didn’t break into the top 10, but that’s understandable, given how much laterhe joined the Straw Hat Pirates.
As fans might have noticed, the original East Blue membersof the Straw Hat Piratesare head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to panel count. This makes sense, as they’ve had more time. Also, back in the East Blue, there were fewer characters to focus on, so they got even more panels compared to the others.
After the East Blue Five, the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates until Brook showed up in the order that they joined the crew in.
