The recipe for the Bone Pickaxe is unlocked bycollecting an Animal Bone. Once players slay an animal like a Kebbit and pick up their first Animal Bone, they will unlock the ability to craft new gear like the Bone Pickaxe. All animals drop Animal Bones, so they’re quite easy to stock up on.
