Mizutsune returns toMonster Hunter Wildscourtesy of the game’s first Title Update, and it brings with it a revamped moveset and a refined version of its signature armor set.

How to Unlock Mizutsune in Monster Hunter Wilds
to fight a Mizutsune, you’ll first need to finish theSpirit in the MoonlightExtra Mission. To start it,speak with Kanya in the Scarlet Forest Base Camp.
If you’ve never done a fishing quest for Kanya before, you’ll have tofinish the Life, In Microcosm quest first. It’s a simple task, and all you have to do to complete it is catch a fish, which you can do from the very same spot Kanya is on.
MH Wilds: Mizutsune Weaknesses and Weakspots
The Mizutsune’sclaws and front legstake extra damage from Thunder and Dragon elements. However, it has only a one-star weakness rating against ranged weapons. If you’re using a Bow or Bowgun, aim for the head, tail, or dorsal fin.
Mizutsune are long, slender beasts that mainly attack by using its claws, fangs, and tail. It alsoshoots out bubbles that deal damage and cause Bubbleblight, a type of Status Ailment that makes hunters take longer to recover after getting hit by attacks. This ailment can also make hunters slip.
Fighting a Mizutsune is fairly simple. Its attacks are well-telegraphed, and with enough practice, players should be able to memorize its moveset. Still, here are a few tips that should make your Mizutsune hunts a bit easier:
