How to Find the Drawing Room Safe in Blue Prince
When you initially enter the Drawing Room,you won’t notice anything specialabout it. There’s a portrait in the middle that seems finished, and a lot of paintings hanging on the surrounding walls.
To find the safe, look at the portrait in the middle of the room, and you’ll realize that the candelabra in that painting is bent. Go to the mantle in front of the painting and interact with the candelabra on the left side to raise the painting of a woman walking in small steps to your left.
Hints for the Drawing Room Puzzle in Blue Prince
Althoughthe hints for safe codesare normally related to dates, that is not the case this time. In fact, these hints are actually related to the aforementioned painting of the woman, which rose up to reveal the safe.
How to Solve the Drawing Room Puzzle in Blue Prince
To find the code to the hidden safe, players need to count the paintings of women and men who are walking with a small stride in the room. These paintings are denoted by a small line underneath their subjects' feet. If you do count all of them, you’ll see that there are four women and fifteen men that fit these criteria, giving you the answer:0415.
When you open the safe,you’ll get a gem and the sixth red letter. The red letter is addressed to “Dearest Mary” regarding her child, Simon.If you look at the date, you’ll see that it is April 15, i.e., 04-15, the answer to the safe. A date was a clue to the safe all along!
