Crafting gear and building bases are at the core of theRunescape: Dragonwildsexperience, but apart from building your own stuff, you’ll also have to maintain them to keep them from breaking. This is where the repair feature comes in.
Repairing gear andbuildingsis a fairly simple task, and like inmost other survival-crafting games, you’ll have to do this fairly often until you get better materials. If you’re at a loss for how to fix your crumbling walls and broken equipment, here’s a quick refresher on how to repair things inRunescrape: Dragonwilds.
How to Repair Weapons and Armor in Runescape: Dragonwilds
As you use your equipment, their conditions will naturally deteriorate. If you want to keep them in tip-top shape,you need to repair them at a Crafting Table.Interact with a Crafting Table, then select the icon to the right of the crafting screen. This will switch you over to the repair screen, where you can fix all of your equipped gear.
Repairing weapons and armor will cost you a small amount of the resources you used to make your equipment. For example, if you want to fix your Stone Axe, you’ll need some Ash Wood. ensure to have plenty of spare materials in your base so you never have to worry about your gear becoming unusable.
How to Repair Items with Magic
Once you reach Artisan level 27, you’ll unlock theMagical Mending spell, which you can use to repair your weapons and armor without a Crafting Table. This is great for emergency field repairs, but considering how magic works in this game, you’ll still need to prep some materials beforehand.
Unlike other RPGs with magic, all magic spells inRunescape: Dragonwildsrequire Runes instead of mana. Runes can be crafted by mining Rune Essences in the world and processing them at a Rune Altar.
How to Repair Buildings in Runescape: Dragonwilds
If parts of your base has taken a hit, you can repair individual pieces by entering Repair Mode while in Build Mode. To do this, enter Build Mode by pressing B on your keyboard, then pressing T to enter Repair Mode.
While in Repair Mode, you’ll be able to repair damaged structures by left-clicking them. Alternatively, if all you want to do ismove or remove yourRunescape: Dragonwildsbuilds, you can do so by pressing the Middle Mouse Button while pointing at an item while in Build Mode.
