Yellow Duck Behavior in REPO
The Yellow Duck inREPOcan spawn on any of the maps, and without exaggeration, we can say that this is one of the safest monsters in the game. All it does is follow the player’s cursor, jump, and quack as if hinting that you should pick it up. As long as you do not do this, everything will be fine.
Otherwise, the Duck will turn into an Apex Predator andquickly kill you. Also, the transformation occurs if the Duck receives damage from any source. Therefore, most of the time, you are better off ignoring this monster.
How to Kill the Yellow Duck in REPO
If you want to kill the Yellow Duck inREPOand get a little more than 2K in cash for doing so, you can do it in several ways. It is important to note that players should avoid directly damaging the Duck so as not to trigger the Apex Predator. Instead, you should stun it and then damage it, or kill it with one attack. Here are several ways you can beat the Yellow Duck inREPO.
Extractor Method
The easiest and fastest way to kill the Duck inREPOis to place it in theExtractor areawhen you are fulfilling your quota. However, you are not allowed to touch the monster with your hands. Instead, you will want to lure it and then stand as close to the Extractor as possible, but be careful not to get crushed along with the Duck.
Toilet or Cauldron Method
Another good way to get rid of the Apex Predator is to lure it into a toilet or cauldron and then slam it into the floor a couple of times inREPO. You will want the Duck to jump into the toilet, after which you should close it and flush the toilet. This will cause the toilet to explode, and the Yellow Duck will be stunned for a few seconds.
It is important to note that players must act quickly. After the explosion, the monster can be thrown anywhere, and you will need to quickly find and slam it into the floor to kill it safely.
The cauldron is a bit trickier, as the Duck has to be in it for a few seconds, but it can quickly jump out, so you’ll need a few tries. After the cauldron explodes, your next steps are no different from the toilet method.
