UnlikeDungeons & Dragons, where players have to add everything up themselves,Baldur’s Gate 3thankfully works out all dice rolls and damage in combat. This makes the game much easier to get into. However, for those who want to push the boundaries andbecome a pro atBG3combat, they will need to first learn how everything works under the hood. This is especially true whenplaying on Honour mode.
One of the most important concepts to understand isAttack Rolls, as these determine whether attacks hit. When players hover over a target, they will see the percentage of the chance of hitting. This is determined by the target’s Armor Class (AC) and the attacker’s modifiers, which can be increased.

How Do Attack Rolls Exceed 20+?
