Regardless of if it is a flower or an apple, eating random ingredients has a chance to increase your Alchemy skill. The drawback to this method is that it is much slower, and you often need to eat a lot of ingredients. This means you will have fewer ingredients to use for making potions.
The second method for increasing your Alchemy skill is to gather up enough ingredients and make a bunch of potions.This method is much faster, but it also requires that you have enough ingredients to actually craft more than one or two potions. So if you see a bunch of herbs while you are exploring, make sure to take the time to gather all of them. Most ingredients don’t weigh much at all, so you can gather quite a few of them without having to worry about inventory space.
Finally, you can also increase your Alchemy skill if you find an Alchemy Skill Book. These books increase your skill by one level. However, they can only be used once. So, while they are a nice boost to your skill, they are a one-time bonus, andcreating potions is the best methodfor increasing your Alchemy skill.
