You should avoid cops in general as much as possible, but even if you do end up being frisked by them, it’s not a big deal if you manage to hide any contraband before they catch it.
How to Hide From Cops During Curfew in Schedule 1
The main time players need tocompletely avoid police officersis duringcurfew hours. In the last quarter of the day, the town goes under curfew, and the police become vigilant, using searchlights to look for any stragglers who would break the law.
Players don’t need to worry too much about the police since they aren’t very astute or physically fit, letting players get away quite easily if they detect you. Just stay out of their light cones,walk slowlyorcrouchwhen they’re near, and stop doing whatever you’re doing when you see theirdetection gauge start to fill up.
How to Get Away from Cops in Schedule 1
The player’s speed is quite high compared to the police officers who attempt to chase them duringthe dark hours of the night, meaning it is quite easy to lose them in a race.
If they detect you, start running around the town, turning as much as possible to confuse them and hide somewhere until the alarm stops going off and everything returns to normal.
How to Hide Items from Cops During Searches

During the day,the police can randomly stop the playeranddo a quick check of their inventory for any contrabandmaterial. You should avoid walking near police officers to stop this from happening, but if it does happen, escaping is quite an easy endeavor.
The police will start the search byscanning each of your inventory slots one by one, starting from the leftmost item slot. You can stop them from discovering anything out of the ordinary byclicking and holding the item slot that you don’t want them to discover.
Once they go over an item, they won’t return to it. This means that players should distance any potentially illegal material by one item slot so that they have sufficient time to move their mouse and hide it if push comes to shove.
Try not to keep any illegal substances in the first slot to avoid accidents.
