How to Start An Unexpected Voyage Quest in Oblivion Remastered
to obtain the Unexpected Voyage Quest, players will need to head to The Bloated Float, which is a docked ship located at the Waterfront district of the Imperial City. Once inside, speak to Ormil and rent a room for 10 gold, where players will then be directed to the lower deck, where the room on the left will be theirs. From here, players will need to go to sleep in the bed so that the quest can trigger.
Speak with Lynch and Free Graman gro-Marad
Now that players have woken up, a prompt will appear letting them know that the boat has left the dock and is now on the move. Once players leave their room, they will be met by a bandit called Lynch, whomplayers will want to conversewith by selecting:I’m a member of your gang, to learn more about the Blackwater Brigands. Once the dialogue has concluded, kill Lynch and loot the Storage Room Key and Lynch’s Instructions from his corpse. Players will want to read Lynch’s Instructions from their inventory to find some valuable information that will be important for dialogue choices later, but for now, head to the Storage Room and free the boat’s bouncer, Graman gro-Marad.
Speak with Minx and Take the Top Deck Key
With Lynch dead, head to the main area of the boat, where players are interrupted by Minx. It’s important that players do not anger her, and instead, select the following dialogue chain:
After this, players will receive more information about this bandit gang, and then they can kill Minx and loot the Top Deck Key from her body. The Top Deck can be entered from above the bar, where they will meet the third of the four members of the gang.
Speak with Wrath and Obtain Ormil’s Cabin Key
Once on the Top Deck of the ship, players will meet Wrath. This is another NPC that players must converse with in a specific dialogue chain to learn more about the gang, and these are the following options they will need to pick:
With this dialogue concluded, kill Wrath to loot his corpse of the Ormil’s Cabin Key, where players can now re-enter the boat and converse with the final bandit, which is where they will give them the sword that they seek.
How to Get the Blackwater Blade in Oblivion Remastered
Now that players have Ormil’s Cabin Key, they can head past the bartender section to enter Ormil’s room, where they will find Selene. Here are the dialogue options to pick when talking to Selene:
Selecting these dialogue options provides players with anon-lethal option where Selene will surrender and gift players the Blackwater Blade, which is a great weapon for their inventory. With the Blackwater Blade now obtained, return to your cabin downstairs, where Selene will follow and imprison herself in the private room. Players can now talk to Ormil and sleep in their bed to wake up in the Imperial City’s Waterfront district, where conversing with Ormil for one final time will see themrewarded with 75 gold for capturing Selene.
Blackwater Blade has a unique enchantment, Absorb Fatigue, which will temporarily paralyse enemies with repeated hits.
