How To Buy Upgraded Vouchers From The Shop In Balatro
There are32 Vouchersyou can find inBalatro. However, of these Vouchers, 16 are common Vouchers you’ll find in any shop and are unlocked from the start of the game. The other 16 are upgraded variants of those Vouchers that need to be unlocked. To find the upgraded variants in the shop, you need to buy the normal Voucher first. If you’re lucky, the upgraded version of that Voucher will appear in a later shop.
For example, if you bought the Grabber Voucher in the shop, then its variant, the Nacho Tong, may show up in shops after later Blinds or Antes. Just know that even if you buy the normal Voucher, there’s no guarantee that the upgraded Voucher will become available for purchase. You’ll just have to hope that the gods of random chance are kind to you.
