Step 1: Completing the Story & All Cases

The first step in getting the Platinum Trophy will be clearing the main story and taking on every possible case. While much of this is pretty straightforward (follow the plot and complete every case that shows up on the board), you’ll also need to set up a Digifarm for investigationand send out Digimon to investigate, so that you can unlock the various enemy hacker cases for Mirei.

In each chapter, you’ll also need to make sure you stop by the Internet Cafe’s coffee maker to taste whatever flavor it dishes out in that chapter,so you can complete “Today’s Fill.” The other vitally important trophy to get during your first playthrough is “Memory Spinner”, since the items needed to unlock certain Hacker Memories are inside story locations you cannot revisit.

It’s important to note that the game’s last Side Case, “Invitation to the Abyss”, is only unlocked after the story is completeand is required to find the last few memories.

If you fail to use the coffee maker at each opportunity, or fail to retrieve one of the five items listed below during the limited time they can be reached, you will have to enter New Game Plus or restart the game entirely to have another chance of getting them.

Chapter 11 - Memory 6:At Ikebukuro Aquarium.

Chapter 12 - Memory 4:Next to the Computer again.

Chapter 13 - Memory 5:Right in front of you at the start of the Chapter.

You’ll need to do three Domination Battles with each of the allies you can invite along, and choose the correct response in their Impression Event Afterward,to earn the trophies “Date Time”, “Someone Special”, and “Partner Only to You”, so you should take care of this as you complete all available cases.

Step 2: Filling Out the Field Guide and Finding Mr. Navit

Next on our to-do list is filling out the field guide. If you’ve finished the game, you now have access to every possible location either via navigating the world or by using the Digilab’s Mirror Dungeon function. This will let you get the majority of the Digimon you need via conversion, and the rest by Digivolving and Degenerating the Digimon in your team.

Some particularly difficult Digimon to get include Magnamon and Rapidmon (Armor), the Spirit Digimon (Up to and Including Susanoomon), and stat-intensive evolutions like Lucemon, Apocalymon, the four Burst Mode Digimon, Gallantmon CM, and Beelzemon BM.

You’ll also want to track down all 20 Mr. Navits scattered throughout the game, though thankfully none of these are in locations you’ll lose access to and therefore cannot be permanently missed.you may also take this time to complete the Offline Coliseum and fight through the Abyss Server, which contains the last memories needed for the “Memory Spinner” trophy and is visited for the first time during the final side case.

If you haven’t already, this is also the perfect time to handle the trophies “999 Damage!”, and “Ultra-Long Combo.“Your best chance of achieving the former is by buffing up a Digimon’s Attack or Intelligence with skills, and then having it use a defence or intelligence piercing attack. Some good digimon to try this with include Titamon and Plesiomon. ensure they’re attacking a Digimon with the type disadvantage for best results.

Ultra-Long Combo is best achieved by using the Chain Max skill and then using a normal attack when your party (and an ally, if possible) are next to each other in the turn order.

Step 3: Online Trophies

The final step in getting all these trophies is playing Network Battles, which are accessible from the Digilab. Here, you’ll need to accumulate enough coins to purchase 20 avatars and 20 titles, and also purchase at least three accessories. you’re able to do this by completing battle missions and playing battles against other players, whether you win or lose.

Once you’ve got 20 avatars and 20 titles, make sure to equip one of each to get the achievements for doing so, and then finish up byequipping all three of your battle Digimon with accessoriesto get the achievements for doing that too.
