The Shattered Veil has finally arrived forBlack Ops 6, and is shaping up to be the biggest map yet, packed with secrets to uncover and a challenging Easter Egg quest to conquer. While players are still piecing together everything the map has to offer—fromdefeating the Elder Discipleto securing the Ray Gun Mk II—side Easter Eggs provide even more fun tasks and valuable upgrades to dive into.
Some of these side Easter Eggsoffer lucrative rewards, like free Perks, making them a great way to gear up without spending Essence. One particular Easter Egg follows this trend, allowing players to skip spending Essence altogether and earn a free Pack-a-Punched weapon—specifically the Marine SP Shotgun. How To Get a Free Pack-a-Punched Marine SP In The Shattered Veil
Preparation & How To Activate
Before players can Pack-a-Punch and upgrade their Marine SP for free, they must firstupgrade the weapon to Rare rarity or higher.This can be achieved in several ways: by progressing through rounds untilthe Marine SP wall buy at the Motor Courtupgrades to Rare, by using a Rare Aether Tool acquired through S.A.M. Trials, or by spending Salvage at the Arsenal Machine to upgrade it manually.
Once players have a Rare-tier Marine SP, they mustalso purchase the Death Perception Perk, which can be found in the West Hallways.
Once that is done, players canhead over to the Banquet Hall.Here, they willfind three deer headsand, with Death Perception equipped, they will also notice a mount beneath the deer heads with a glowing outline of a Shotgun. Placing the Marine SP onto this mount with the interact button will begin the Easter Egg.
How To Get an Epic Marine SP Shotgun For Free
Now that players have placed the Rare Marine SP onto the mount, the deer head’s eyes will begin to glow. From here, players canshoot the left deer head, which willreveal the icon of a specific Field Upgrade.Players will then need tokill enough zombies near the deer headswhilethe corresponding Field Upgrade is active.If players have a different Field Upgrade equipped than the one displayed, they can simply switch it by pausing the game and selecting the correct Field Upgrade from the menu.
Killing enough zombies while the correct Field Upgrade is active will complete the first phase. If done correctly, Parasites will begin to spawn, followed shortly after by a Mangler. Players will need todefeat the Manglerwithin a specific time limit. Once the Mangler is defeated, players can retrieve the Marine SP from the mount, nowupgraded to Epic rarity and equipped with a random Ammo Mod.
How To Get a Legendary Marine SP Shotgun For Free
If players progress to another round after acquiring the Epic Marine SP, they canplace it back onto the mount to upgrade it further.Once again, shoot the left deer head to reveal the required Field Upgrade, thenkill enough zombies near the deer headswhile the correctField Upgrade is active.
Just like before, Parasites will spawn after fulfilling the first step—this time in much greater numbers.Two Manglers will also appear, and players mustdefeat both within a short window.After successfully clearing them out, players can return to the Marine SP to find itupgraded to Legendary rarity, no Essence required.
How To Get a Tier I Pack-a-Punch Marine SP Shotgun For Free
After upgrading the Marine SP to Legendary rarity, players can move into another round andrepeat the process once again.Place the weapon back onto the mount, shoot the left deer head to reveal the required Field Upgrade, and kill enough zombies near the deer heads to complete the first step.
This time, Parasites will spawn just like before, but they’ll now be joined by two Manglers and an Amalgam. Players mustdefeat both Manglers and the Amalgamwithin a short window. Successfully doing so willupgrade the Marine SP to Tier I Pack-a-Punch, all without spending any Essence.
While getting the Marine SP Pack-a-Punched may seem like the final step,players who save and quit their gameafter progressing into another round can actuallyrepeat the last step two more times.Doing so will allow them toupgrade the Marine SP up to a Tier III Pack-a-Punch.
