On top of that, gardening is one of the core skills of every playable character in the game, and you’ll need to level it up to keep your Zois happy and full of life.Some other skills, like Cooking, also rely on gardeningsince it’ll have you growing veggies and crops. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to work on your gardening skill. For those looking to do just that, here’show to garden and grow plants inInZOI.
How to Garden in InZOI
Gardening inInZOIcomes with a lot of freedom, and the game gives you tons of ways to get creative. You can decorate your home with cute indoor plants, place some greenery near the entrance, or design a full outdoor garden. There are also lots of options when it comes to growing your own crops. Here’s a quick look at the available plants inInZOI:

To start gardening inInZOI, you’ll first need tobuy the plantsyou like and place them wherever they look best. To get started, head toBuild Mode(the fourth icon at the bottom right), go into the Furniture section, and then look for your favorite plants under the Outdoor category.
If you’re setting up a garden outside your Zoi’s house, you may also throw in some extra items like floor panels, a picnic bench, a BBQ grill, a cooler, and more to give the area a nice, cozy look.
How to Grow Plants in InZOI
The game offers a bunch of Growing Plants (which you find in the Build Mode), and those are the only ones that actually grow bigger over time. Other plants, like flowerpots or decorative flowers, can be watered to keep them fresh, but they won’t get taller or produce any fruits or veggies.
To grow plants inInZOI, just pick from the Growing Plant section and water them daily. These usually take about two or more days to fully mature. If your in-game day length is set to 4 or 24 hours, it’ll take super long for the plants to sprout. So, if you want faster results, it’s better tochange the day length to 48 or 96 minutesin the settings.
How to Cultivate and Harvest Crops in InZOI
Some growing plants inInZOIalso include crop seedlings, which are basically fruits and vegetables that you can raise right in your garden. These come in handy forcooking meals since you’ll need fresh ingredientsto whip up dishes (like Tomatoes for Tomato Pasta).
You can plant Carrots, Corn, Lettuce, or even fruits like Blueberries. To grow crops inInZOI, just buy a seedling pot for the fruit or veggie you want, place it in your garden, and make sure tofertilize and water it every day. When you tap on the plant, you’ll see those options pop up, so it’s pretty easy to manage.
Once your crops look ripe and ready to pick, tap the plant and hit the ‘Harvest’ option. If that doesn’t show up, your crops probably still need time to mature. After that, you can put them in your bag, place them in the kitchen, or clean them.
