This little insect has golden patterns on its wings and is considered a rare find. If you’rehoping to complete your bug collection, catching it is a must. Plus, some villagers really like it, so gifting one can boost your friendship levels, too. Where to Find Golden Glory Bee in Palia
The Golden Glory Bee can only be found inPaliabychopping down Sapwood Trees, which are its natural home. Justhead over to Kalima Valley(south of your house) and look for trees with white bark—those are the Sapwoods. You’ll spot a bunch of them in Leafhopper Hills and Gillyfin Cove. These trees come in three sizes, but the bee only shows up in medium and large versions.
You’ll need a Makeshift Axe to start cutting,which you already have in your starter kit, but to take down the bigger trees, you’ll need toupgrade your axe(Standard for medium, Fine Exquisite for large). If you’re not sure how to upgrade, just visit Ashura and buy it from his Foraging Guild Shop. Once your axe is ready, find a tree and right-click a few times to chop it down. If there’s a bee inside, you’ll see a golden exclamation mark pop up. Since this bug is super unique, you might need to cut down a bunch of trees before one shows up.
How to Catch Golden Glory Bee in Palia
Once the Golden Glory Bee pops out of the Sapwood Tree, it’ll try to fly off really fast, so catching it can be tricky. The best way to catch a Golden Glory Bee inPaliais bytossing a Smoke Bomb at it. You can craft these easily at your Work Table using justone Clay and one Sundrop Lily.Or, if you’re low on materials, just go to the General Store in Kilima Valley and grab a pack of five for 20 Gold.
To use the Smoke Bomb, open your tool wheel (press R) and equip it. Since the bee flies off right after the tree falls, you need to switch fast. Once you’ve got it ready, justleft-click to throw the bomband make sure it lands inside the circle around the bee. If you hit it, the Golden Glory Bee will fall to the ground like any other bug, ready for you to loot.If it’s giving you trouble, bring a buddy along. Anyone nearby can help throw smoke bombs and catch Golden Glory Bees, too.
