Beloved aquatic RPGDave the Diverhas sent Dave on a variety of exciting and unexpected adventures around the Blue Hole, many that involve far more than just your run-of-the-mill fishing escapades. For example, the game’s Godzilla Content Pack saw a dramatic appearance by none other than Godzilla itself, along with other memorable characters and plenty of quest content for players to explore.
One such piece of content in thisDave the DiverDLC is the Lost Kaiju Figurines mission, which sends you to find actual figurines in the depths of the Blue Hole. If you’re having trouble finding them all or unlocking the mission to begin with, here’s a guide to help with all that it entails.
How to Unlock Lost Kaiju Figurines Mission in Dave the Diver
To unlock theLost Kaiju Figurines mission inDave the Diver, you first need to download the Godzilla Content Pack DLC for the base game. If you haven’t already, this DLC is unfortunately no longer available to download, meaning that its content will not be accessible to play if you don’t have it.
With the DLC installed, you’ll then need to play through the main missions involving Godzilla itself and a young woman namedMikiwho seeks to save the infamous beast. Once you’ve completed the missions up through defeating Ebirah and saving the Blue Hole from its wrath, you’ll then receive one final mission from Miki called ‘Lost Kaiju Figurines’.
While talking with Dave on the phone, she’ll note that several figurines have gone missing around the Blue Hole, leaving it up to you to find and categorize them with theKaiju Codex app. It will be automatically added to your phone and can be found near the bottom of the list, near ‘Settings’. It will help you keep track of the ones you’ve found, and the ones you still need to find.
When you’re ready to go exploring for these figurines, ensure to upgrade and bring yourbest weaponand stock up on any supplies you want from Cobra.
All Lost Kaiju Figurine Locations in Dave the Diver
There are a total of20 Lost Kaiju Figurinesthat you need to find to complete the mission. As mentioned previously, make sure to use your Kaiju Codex app to keep track of your progress. Below is a comprehensive list of all the figurines and their respective locations in the Blue Hole.
Bear in mind that for all the figurines to successfully appear, you need to have unlocked all regions/areas via the game’s main story. Also, remember that there are different underwater map layouts each time you dive, so figurines may not appear in the exact same spot on each map variant. However, they will still be in the same general location.
Figurine 1 - Godzilla (1994)
This figurine is found in the vicinity of the Megamouth Shark, which normally resides at 130-250 meters down in the Depths Region near the large skeleton. You’ll need a uv light to maneuver through the passages full of tubeworms to reach it from the right or left side.
Figurine 2 - Ebirah (1966)
This figurine is located in the Under Sunken Ship region (Medium Depths), at the far left side of the map. There are usually a couple of predators, such as Hammerhead Sharks and Sailfish, patrolling the area, so tread carefully.
Figurine 3 - Mechagodzilla (1975)
This figurine is located inside the Sea People Record Chamber, which you can access in the Medium Depths region by swimming to the far right side of the map and then vertically down, until you see the open gate on the right wall. Go inside, and the figurine box will be sitting on the floor of the chamber.
Figurine 4 - Jet Jaguar
The Jet Jaguar figurine is found in the Sea Peoples Village, at the far right end of the lower area. Swim all the way to where the Game Parlor building is, and the figurine box will be on the ground to the right.
Figurine 5 - King Ghidorah (1991)
The King Ghidorah figurine is located inside Tenzhin’s House in the Sea Peoples Village. Just as you enter the house, it’ll be sitting on the floor by a pillar.
Figurine 6 - Gigan (1972)
The Gigan figurine is located inside the Glacial Passage area, trapped on a ledge behind an ice barrier in the wheel puzzle area. When entering the room from the left, the ledge containing the figurine is above the first wheel you encounter.
Figurine 7 - Minilla (1967)
The Minilla (1967) figurine is located inside the First Glacial Cave of the Glacial Passage. Swim past the room with large statues and in the next room to the right, the figurine box will be on the ground next to a rocky ledge.
Figurine 8 - Godzilla (1995)
you may actually find this figurine near where you found the Little Godzilla (No. 20) figurine. Simply swim down the same passage where you found that one and continue deeper into the depths through a wide hole that brings you to the area where the blocked cave entrance was during the ‘Kaiju’s Hideout’ mission.
Figurine 9 - Mothra (1961)
Mothra is found in the Underwater Lake area, where you can first visit during the Curious Child mission. The figurine box is sitting on a ledge to the right of the main lake area.
Figurine 10 - Hedorah (1971)
The Hedorah figurine is also found in the Hydrothermal Vents area, in a dead end nook beneath where the entrance to the Third Glacial Cave is.
Figurine 11 - Biolante
The Biolante figurine is found inside Tsuchi’s house in the Depths area of the map. It’ll be sitting on a table at the very back of the house.
Figurine 12 - Rodan (1993)
The Rodan figurine is another one found inside the Glacial Area, specifically in the maze of tunnels on the left side of the area. The figurine will be sitting on a ledge in the upper part of the maze.
Figurine 13 - Godzilla (2016)
The Godzilla (2016) figurine is located in the Glacial Passage, in the room where you must navigate the spinning wheel puzzle to reach the Giant Gadon boss in Chapter 5. The figurine box is wedged behind rubble beneath the first spinning wheel.
Figurine 14 - Spacegodzilla
The Spacegodzilla figurine is located inside the Glacial Seaweed Cave area, which you’re able to find once you’ve done the ‘Trapped in the Glacial Cave’ mission added in a 2024 game update. Swim to the far right side of the room and the figurine will be sitting on the floor.
Figurine 15 - Destoroyah
You won’t be able to get the Destoroyah figurine until you have full access to the Hydrothermal Vents area in the latter half of Chapter 6. The figurine itself is itself inside the Divine Tree Control Room area, sitting on a boulder just past some vents spewing fiery fumes. They can harm Dave, so be careful when approaching.
Figurine 16 - Godzilla (1965)
This figurine will likely be one of the first ones you come across, as it’s easily found up in the Blue Hole Shallows on the far right side, tucked in a corner. Beware of sharks and other predatory creatures patrolling the area.
Figurine 17 - Mecha-king Ghidorah
This figurine is found down in the Depths region, sitting on a shallow cliffside to the right. To reach this particular area of the Depths, try and enter straight down from the Medium Depths on the far right side of the map.
Figurine 18 - Anguirus (2004)
This figurine is located inside the Limestone Cave (Medium Depth), around the upper central area of it. Be careful while navigating it because of the strong currents that flow through, as they can knock you into spots of spiky coral.
Figurine 19 - King Caesar (1974)
The King Caesar figurine is found down in the Depths region of the map, in the same room where you first encounter Ramo and Suwam during the ‘Going Deeper’ mission. You’ll need a uv flashlight to get past the barrier of tubeworms blocking the passage to the room.
Figurine 20 - Little Godzilla
The last figurine on the list is found in the Depths region, quite close to where you found the Godzilla (1994) figurine near the Megamouth Shark. Look for a hole in the floor of the area, which takes you down a vertical passage and the figurine box will be found about halfway down.
