Open world games are the bestwhen it comes to exploration. The more freedom a player has, the better it feels to find everything the world has to offer them. However, these same games also suffer from having large maps, making fast travel almost necessary since traversing a pre-explored area is just boring.
Promise Mascot Agencysuffers from the same problem, and offers the same solution. However, instead of making Fast Travel automatic, it requires the player to firstunlock Fast Travel, and then do a lot of exploration to take full advantage of said fast travel.
How To Unlock Fast Travel in Promise Mascot Agency
Before you arrived in Kaso-Machi, Pinky ran the mascot agency, which was shut down by the mayor. She had high hopes for the agency and created many upgrade blueprints. Before it was shut down, Pinky spread these schematics throughout the world, and one of these will unlock the Fast Travel Upgrade.
Don’t start exploring the farther parts of Kaso-Machi until you’ve gotten this upgrade.
How to Use Fast Travel
Once you’ve unlocked fast travel, using it is quite simple, though it can take a little bit of time.Players can only fast travel between telephones. This means that you cannot teleport from one place to another just by opening up the map; You need to travel to a nearby telephone and use it to teleport to one in another area.
Players can easily find the telephones in an area by listening for the ringing tone. It gets louder the closer the player gets to it.
To access other telephones, players need to discover them first. If you haven’t interacted with one previously, you won’t be able to teleport to it. Essentially, the game tells the player to explore on their own before unlocking fast travel for that area. Even if you’ve already explored an area, you’ll have to find the telephone in that area once more after you unlock the ability to fast travel.
