The Suja Sash is one of the so-called secret armor pieces inMonster Hunter Wilds. It can’t be made with materials that drop from monsters or form naturally in the wilderness. Instead, players will need to get a very specific crafting material from some of the locals of the Forbidden Lands.
In many respects, the Suja Sash is similar tothe Death Stench set inMH Wilds. It’s not very practical for endgame builds, but it does make for a mean fashion statement. If you’re wondering how to get this armor piece, here’s what you need to do.
How to Make the Suja Sash in MH Wilds
To craft a Suja Sash,you’ll need to get three Suja Textiles(and five Fucium Ores). As mentioned, you can’t just get these like would any other monster part or mineral. Instead,you need to trade with Sekka, one of the NPCs in Suja, Peaks of Accord. You can find Sekka roaming the village, and she can sometimes be seen near the path leading to the Grand Hub and Wounded Hollow.
Like all the other trader NPCs, Sekka’s inventory is randomized, and it refreshes after every in-game day or so. You can skip the wait by resting in your tent, though this will cost a fairly hefty sum of 500 Guild Points. If you ever find yourself in need of the latter,there are plenty of ways to earn them.
When Sekka is offering Suja Textiles, she’ll usually ask for Dragonscale Vases in return. You can get these from gathering points in Iceshard Cliffs. Check the filters on your map to find their locations, or just send Apar, one of the Material Retrieval NPCs, to look for them.
Alternatively, you can speak with Gawdygog at the Wudwud Hideout to see if he has any Suja Textiles for sale. He’ll only take Ancient Wyvern Coins as payment, however.

Is the Suja Sash Any Good?
From a practical standpoint, the Suja Sash is a decent defensive option as far as waist pieces are concerned. It comes withDivine Blessing 3, which will give you a relatively decent chance of reducing an incoming instance of damage by 50%. Additionally, it comes with a single Level 2 Decoration Slot and two Level 1 Decoration Slots.
Divine Blessing is a decent defensive skill that can safe hunters from getting carted in one shot. However, it isn’t completely reliable, as its proc chance is estimated to be around 20-25%. Its decoration slots also leave much to be desired. Still, the Suja Sash is a good option for players who are yet to get any ofthe best armor pieces in the game.
