The Devil’s Finger inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2is a unique rock formation in the middle of the Trosky woods. Although there isn’t a clear path to the top, players can still find a way up there—and it’s more than worth the time and effort to do so. Be wary, though, as a fall from the Devil’s Fingercan sometimes mean death.
How To Climb the Devil’s Finger in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Players musthead tothe northwest region of the Trosky mapto find the Devil’s Finger inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2. It’s a place of interest, so players should see a marker indicating its location once they’re in the area. It’s not too far from theSkeleton With a Treasure place of interest.
It’s worth either making an Exit Save or downing a Saviour Schnapps before attempting the climb. It’s possible Henry may die if he falls from the Devil’s Finger. If players choose to save with Schnapps, then wait until the drunkenness has faded before attempting the climb.
Once players arrive, they’ll notice a large rock formation with a slightly flat top. At first, it may seem like the cliff isn’t climbable, buta hidden path can get you started. Head to the western side of the cliff. Players should see a log that leads to the middle section of the Devil’s Finger.Cross the log to get to the side of the cliff.
Once you make it to the other side, turn left. There’s a bit of a path here that winds around the right side of the cliff. Follow it until the path ends. You should then turn right and find a rock that you can climb.
Turn left and continue climbing up the rocks as if they were stepping stones. Beware, however, asclimbing can be a bit glitchy. Henry can sometimes have problems staying up on a rock if his feet are too close to the edge of the stone, so tryto move forward as fast as possibleto avoid having him slip backward.
The next phase of the climb occurs after players walk up a log ramp. This next section is particularly tricky, since it requires you to jump over gaps. Once more, you should make an Exit Saveoruse Saviour Schnappsin case you fall and Henry dies.
Avoid wearing heavy armor or heavy clothing during this climb, as it can eat into Henry’s stamina and may weigh him down. Either jump without clothes or ensure Henry is wearing lightweight clothing.
Jump and climb up the remaining stones, winding around the Devil’s Finger, until Henry comes to a gap. Try to angle Henry slightly to the outside of the stone he’s on and aim for the inside of the stone he is jumping to. If players jump Henry too close to the edge of the stone, Henry may slip and fall to his death—or at least to some badly broken bones.
Make the leap, and then continue to hug the wall. This section is very slippery for Henry, so keep hugging the right wall. There’s another jump ahead, so repeat the same strategy, and Henry should make it across without any problems.
The last part of the climb can be really tricky, not to mention glitchy. Players may be able to make Henry climb up onto a stone here, but getting the right interaction box to do so can be hard. If you’re able to’t get Henry to climb onto the stone, then you’ll have to jump up. This area curves downwards, so jumping should ensure thatHenry dodges forward as fast as possibleto get his feet on the flat part of the stone.
Once you have reached this part of the Devil’s Finger inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ve basically made it to the top.The next phase is a lot easier to climb. Simply walk up the chalk path until Henry makes it to the top.
