Player housing is a feature that is set to come toInfinity Nikkiin a future update, and many players have been excited about it for quite some time. While there are still many unanswered questions about player housing, it is possible to get a broad understanding of the feature by looking at the details that the developer has officially confirmed. Indeed,Infinity Nikki’s developer has revealed some interesting information about the “Home” feature, which gives a general idea of what the player housing system has to offer.

Even still, all this information is subject to change, and the Home feature could look quite different when it is ultimately implemented.
Infinity Nikki: When Will Player Housing Release?
While many players had hoped that the Home feature would be added to the game as part ofInfinity NikkiVersion 1.5, which is set to be released at the end of April, the developer has confirmed that it will actually become available insummer 2025. This later release date will give the developer additional time to “fine-tune” the feature, and the team “promises” that players will not be disappointed when their wait for player housing finally comes to an end.
Infinity Nikki: How Long Has Player Housing Been in Development?
The developers indicate that player housing has been in the works sinceInfinity Nikki’s first playtest, which occurred inJune 2024. This means that the feature will have been in development for approximately one year when it is released this summer.
Infinity Nikki: How is Player Housing Accessed?
It is indicated that the Home feature is intended to be “seamlessly” integrated into the game’s open-world. While this could mean that the island upon which a player’s house will be located is on the main Miraland map, it does not shut the door on the possibility of player housing existing on a separate map. In fact, it would not be particularly surprising if the Home island functioned very much likeInfinity Nikki’s Firework Isles, which can be accessed from Miraland but exists as a discrete area.

Construction Ability
The developers have confirmed that Nikki will use her “construction ability” to design and decorate her housing. This seems to suggest that there will be a new type ofAbility Outfit inInfinity Nikkithat is directly connected to the Home feature, though no such outfits have been revealed at this point.
Home Customization
Players will be able to customize “every detail” of their housing, from the floor to the ceiling and everything in between. While some players may be excited by that high degree of freedom, those that find it slightly overwhelming may be happy to learn that there will be “basic house templates” from which they can select. Those templates can act as starting points, which can be tweaked or completely redesigned, or players can opt to leave them as is.
Furniture will be a key component of home customization, and players will be free to furnish their houses however they see fit. Notably, some of the furniture pieces that are found inInfinity Nikki’s open-worldcan be brought back to Nikki’s house, though exactly how those items are secured has yet to be confirmed.
Outside the House
Infinity Nikki’s Home featurewill not limit players to only designing and decorating the interior of a house, as they will also have access to a courtyard that they can fully customize. This is just the beginning of the opportunities that can be found outside the house, though, as it is confirmed that Nikki will have an entire island to explore and make her own through the player housing system.
While the extent of those opportunities has not yet been revealed, it is confirmed thatInfinity Nikkiplayerswill be able to growcropson their Home islands. It also seems that it will be possible to “feed little animals” on the island, though that has not been explicitly stated by the developer. That said, the team has revealed that there will be “interactive features” throughout the island, and perhaps animals will be among them.
