F1 25’s Changes To My Team And Careers Explained

Driver Ownership Changes

F1 25will be more realisticthan prior titles in the franchise due to some key changes to the My Team experience, as fans will now take on the Owner role, rather than the Owner Driver role. This means that the player will have to manage the careers of two drivers, whereas previous games allowed one of the two drivers to fall by the wayside, and will have to make more complex decisions regarding the competing interests of the two drivers. In addition, a new Owner Perks system will allow fans to specialize in one of three avenues (Engineering, Corporate, or Personnel) to better embody the type of manager they want to be.

The upcomingF1 25will also introduce new Fan Rating and Contract systems. As managers, players will need to watch out for how fans perceive their team and will need to manage the perception of drivers towards the team during contract negotiations. Further, players will be able to access the new Team HQ environment, which can be customized in accordance with the player’s choices throughout the mode. A new Facilities improvements system will offer new and more granular upgrade decisions, as well as sway over workforce size and a new cast of Facility Heads.
