Summary
The Tournament of Power was the greatest test that the Z-Fighters had to face in the entirety of theDragon Ballseries at that point in time. The existence of the multiverse was on the line, prompting each of the universes to bring forth their most powerful warriors in a desperate bid for survival. In the end, Universe 7 and 11 faced off in one of the most incredible moments in the entire franchise.
Jiren was the ultimate warrior from Universe 11 who wasportrayed as an unstoppable powerhousethroughout, and was only defeated in the end due to a combined effort from Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. However, as tough as this challenge was, if a second Tournament of Power were to ever happen again inDragon Ball, it would be the easiest time for the Universe 7 fighters. So, let’s take a look at why this is.
Universe 7 Is The Strongest It Has Ever Been
The Unbridled Power At This Stage
Ever since the start ofDragon Ball Super, the series has been on an absolute tear when it comes to the overpowered new transformations that the various characters have unlocked. This ultimately proved to be agame-changer in the Tournament of Poweras well, since the Saiyan’s potential for growth led to new transformations for both Goku and Vegeta, with the former gaining the most important form of them all.
Goku’s Ultra Instinct houses the innate Divine Technique of the Angels of the multiverse, who are not only the teachers of their Gods of Destruction, but are also the most powerful fighters in the entire series. With this technique, Goku’s body can react to external danger autonomously without him having to think about it, allowing him to forego the need to be defensive and focus everything on offense. Since Goku unlocked the form, he has mastered it to fit him best, making him stronger than ever before.
On the other hand, Vegeta has also unlocked a Divine Transformation that he has named Ultra Ego. This form is the opposite of Goku’s technique, in that it encourages the user to take damage since this then makes their offense even stronger in turn. Although this form has its downsides that Vegeta is still working on, it, by far, has thegreatest offensive power out of all transformations, since it was able to perform way better than Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku in its first-ever use.
Moving on, the next two power-ups are incredibly similar. Both Gohan and Broly have unlocked the next stages in their evolution, called Beast and Full Powered Super Saiyan respectively. The reason why they are similar is that both Saiyans have the greatest potential out of every other member of their race, allowing them to close massive gaps of power between themselves and others who are far stronger with a fraction of the time and effort.
I feel they’re similar somehow. Gohan and Broly… Indeed, Broly does give off the Beast vibe, doesn’t he?
On top of this, Piccolo has also unlocked an insanely powerful new form, which was recently revealed to also be on the same level as the others. Although not as flashy as the other forms, Piccolo’s new power mixes perfectly with hisalready incredible Namekian physiology, making him a tricky and powerful foe to face. Along with this, Granolah was an exceptionally powerful character who defeated Ultra Instinct Goku and fought Ultra Ego Vegeta to a standstill. He eventually became an ally to the heroes, and in the second Tournament of Power, he could provide the perfect long-range support to his team.
Of course, it’s not as if the other universes would have been completely silent the entire time since their best fighters would have gotten even stronger at this stage. Most notably, many fans believe that Jiren may have also unlocked Ultra Instinct and would be just as adept as Goku with it. However, even if this is the case, the rest of Universe 7’s team is still just far too strong to deal with.

Granolah the Survivor Arc
Of course, the unrivaled power of Universe 7 can’t be talked about without the inclusion of itsmost powerful character; Black Frieza. After training in a Hyperbolic Time Chamber that he found on a random planet for 10 years, Frieza honed his strength to such unprecedented levels that he unlocked a new transformation that was so strong, it took out Goku and Vegeta in a single punch, despite the Saiyans using their Divine Transformations.
Of course, if another Tournament of Power were to happen, Frieza would likely be called to Universe 7’s defense once again, though his power would be so great that he may not even need any teammates. Without a doubt, Black Frieza would be the last man standing as far as power scaling is concerned right now, which would mean that the wish from the Super Dragon Balls would be his to make. Faced with endless possibilities with the wish, who knows what kind of power Frieza will be able to attain?
