Posted by dvveet on Twitter, the user credited leaker Wazzup, who seemed fairly certainDead by Daylightwould be adding Creator Codes shortly, “similar to Fortnite.” It was noted that how they will work has yet to be revealed. Previously, Behaviour presentedDead by Daylight’s content roadmap for April, including the game’s recent real-life event at Horror Con Scotland and the return of the Blood Moon event, alongside the devs’ confirmation that news about the Creator Program would be dropping in May. Furthermore, dvveet guessed that the codes will only be rolled out to certain creators, unlikeFortniteand Epic’s Support-A-Creator program.

Players warmly receivedDead by Daylight’s recentTokyo Ghoulcrossover, but the creator codes leak did not go down so well among smaller creators. In response to the leak, one Twitter user was certain these codes wouldn’t apply to “little guys like myself,” and another player agreed, saying the codes will likely only be in place forDead by Daylightpartners and the likes.

The community was recently treated toDead by Daylight’s Update 8.6.1, which brought several improvements to some of the game’s most popular features. Alongside the expected general bug swatting, fixes for theTokyo Ghoulkiller were implemented, as well as Blood Moon Event changes to bonuses, for example. To make gameplay more seamless, alterations were also made to The Ghoul’s abilities, maps, and perks, in a bid to keep the hunt fair and square between Killers and Survivors.
