A Unique Setting Filled With Mystery
Since this isaCritical Rolestory,Call of the Netherdeepindeed takes place in Exandria, but there is a fun shake-up in the environment for players to look forward to. Much of the campaign takes place underwater, putting a priority on submerged exploration. Before going beneath the surface, players have to properly prepare for the expedition, and once beneath the water, they are greeted by an oppressive and horror-tinged atmosphere.
These underwater dungeons lead players to Alyxian, an Apotheon who has entombed himself. Players will have to unravel the reason behind this, adding a fun layer of mystery to the story.Critical Rolehas brought great fantasy stories to life, andCall of the Netherdeepstays true to the franchise’s hardcore fantasy, while also adding a touch of Lovecraftian energy.

This rival party is in search of the same things, presenting players with a sense of urgency.
