After visiting Old Lumiere inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, players will be tasked with defeating two Axons on their respective islands. Those Axons are Visages and Sirene, and some players may have questions about which one they should fight first. This guide is here to address those questions, and it will help players decide the order in which they should pursue the two Axons inClair Obscur: Expedition 33.
While there are several factors that can help players choose the Axon to fight first, it is worth noting that the decision does not have a notable impact onClair Obscur: Expedition 33’s story.
Should You Fight Sirene or Visages First in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Here are several things thatClair Obscur: Expedition 33playersshould think about when deciding which Axon to visit first:
Boss Difficulty
Sirene and Visages are of comparable power, and players who are capable of beating one should be capable of beating the other. That said,Sirene may be slightly easier than Visages, especially if players make proper use of theAnti-CharmPictos/Luminathat can be obtained by defeating Tisseur, a mini-boss that is found on the map. As such, players may want to fight Sirene before visiting Visages.
Map Difficulty
TheSireneand Visages maps have a similar level of difficulty, which means that players should be able to address them in either order. However, theVisages map is a bit more complex than the Sirene map, and it is home to some slightly-more challenging mini-bosses. An argument can thus be made that it is wiser to tackle Sirene first.
Map Rewards
Players will earn a variety of rewards, including Pictos and weapons, as they work through the Sirene and Visages maps, and they can determine the order in which to pursue the Axons by deciding which rewards they would like to receive first. To assist with that decision, here are lists of the notable rewards that come from the Sirene and Visages maps, and players are sure to note that there are more to be found when pursuing Sirene:
