Discussing her role as Misty inYellowjackets, Ricci states that this particular role is “the most fun character to play, she’s so arrogant”. In the adult timeline of the show, Misty Quigley is portrayed as a loyal, yet manipulative individual who is desperate to belong and on the constant lookout for validation, which sees her get thrown into questionable methods to achieve her goals. “It’s almost as if she doesn’t view herself as a real human being. She thinks she can do anything and get away with anything,” said Ricci about her funny yet twisted and socially awkward role of Misty.

Although not wanting to give too much away about the plot of Yellowjackets season 3, Ricci reveals even more of the mystery of what happened back then with the survivors and what is happening to them now. “There are a lot of twists and surprises to come. It’s crazy, scary and intense. Not giving anything away, but the body count is really high.”, which many fans of the show will have already had a taste of. InWednesdaySeason 1, Laurel Gates, known by her alias Marilyn Thornhill, was defeated in the end so she’sunlikely to make a comeback forWednesdaySeason 2. However, Ricci did say that she would be leaving the door up for the character to return in some way.
