Activision has now outlined the contents of the upcoming mid-season refresh just days ahead of its launch. Season 3 Reloaded will continue building onCall of Duty: Warzone’s return to Verdanskin multiple ways, including two limited-time modes and several new and returning events.

New Verdansk Features in CoD: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Among the highlights of Season 3 Reloaded is thereturn of the Verdansk Train Station toCall of Duty: Warzone. As was previously the case, the loot train will be running across the map, serving as a free ride for anyone willing to try their hand at fighting off approaching enemy waves. Season 3 Reloaded is also adding High Value Loot Zones, which hide powerful gear and serve as worthy detours for players who aren’t too risk-averse. Two new contracts—Train Recon and Big Game Bounty—are coming as part of the mid-season refresh as well.

Battle Royale Ranked Play Is Coming to Verdansk

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Battle Royale Ranked Playis coming to Verdansk for the first time in the map’s history once Season 3 Reloaded kicks off. The mode will feature 50 three-player teams competing to see who can survive the longest. Eliminating opponents, completing challenges, and just staying alive in general will all earn Skill Rating points. For eliminations, the SR reward will depend on the difference between the player’s and the opponent’s ranks. The ongoing season’s Ranked Play rewards include weapon charms, camos, and stickers, as well as special sprays and emblems awarded for reaching various elimination goals.

Verdansk Is Getting 2 Limited-Time Modes

Season 3 Reloaded will also introduce two new modes to Verdansk, both of which will be of the limited-time variety. The first, High Trip Resurgence, will have players spawn with random weapons, tasking them with finding Shades in supply caches that boost their stats, consequently improving their survival odds. Then there’s Massive Resurgence, a 120-player mode that promises frequent engagements and absolute chaos. The Rebirth Island Resurgence and Battle Royale Casual modes will continue to be supported for the remainder of the ongoing season. The mid-season refresh will also introduce a new Verdansk vehicle in the form of the Triumph TF 250-X motorcycle, which is already available in Rebirth Island.
