Summary

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remasterwill not have the option to set encounter rates to zero, signaling the departure of a staple feature from the original 3DS title. However, Square Enix stated that the upcomingBravely Defaultremaster will allow players to set the random battle encounter rate between 50% and 200% on the game’s world map.

Originally released in 2012 on the 3DS,Bravely Defaultdrew inspiration from Square Enix’s iconicFinal Fantasyseries. Players take control of Tiz, Agnes, Edea, and Ringabel as they travel throughout the land of Luxendarc and seek out the mysterious crystals at the behest of a Cryst-Fairy named Airy. While both IPs feature iconic character classes and utilize crystals as a plot device,Bravely Defaultincludes twists to the turn-based battles featured in olderFinal Fantasygames. By smartly using the Brave and Default actions, players can stockpile turns in battle and then unleash them to deal heavy damage to enemies in a single turn.
