Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2doesn’t feature as many puzzlesas Tape 1, and it also cuts away a lot of the exploring for Memoirs. The game feels less like a second part and more like the cherry on top. It wraps things up and gives players closure over any of the mysterious events they may still be dwelling on, such as who sent the package.
Even though it may notfeature a lot of puzzles, it does feature one early on in the form of packing a box. The good news is there is no one way to pack this box and players can go about different placements.
How to Pack The Box in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2
Players will find the box in Swann’s room. This is the same starting room where players canbegin hunting for the game’s Memoirs. There is a 3x4x3 grid inside the box. Different items will consume a different amount of space. Such as the lunchbox, which takes up two spaces at each level for a total of six spaces, or the spray can, which takes up three spaces in a single row. Players will be able to rotate objects, allowing them to try different approaches.
Try to save as many single space items until the end, as these can be used to fill up any openings. You will need to use some of them to support other items that cover a larger area when there is not enough space for them at the current lowest level.
Where to Place Each Item in the Box in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2
This puzzle sets itself apart from those seen in Tape 1, which usually involvesolving combination locks. Players can place items differently, but if they follow some specific rules, they will be able to have a lot of flexibility in their final item placements. Players should start with the lunchbox and cat food first. These take up spaces at every level. Players can place them both at the top of the box in a single row. This leaves just 2x4x3 spaces left.
Some other items take up vertical layers, but they only take up 2 spaces. Rotate the spray can so that it is horizontal and then place it on the bottom with one side touching the right side of the box. Players can then take any one-sided object and place it in the remaining right-side space. Take the art supplies and place them on this object and the spray can. This puts this awkward shape out of the way.
Players can now stake their books in the remaining corner and place the jar in the empty part of the box. This leaves them with several single-space items, which they can arrange anywhere in the box to fill up all the loose spaces.
Players can practise this setup and then make a new game to complete this task in under 3 minutes to get one ofthe game’s numerous achievements/trophies.
