Sarada Uchiha Awakens Her Mangekyo Sharingan

Fans know that Sarada Uchiha is destined for greatness in Boruto. After all, she intends to be the Hokage one day, which means that she must rise to the very top eventually. Up until now, Kishimoto had hardly taken any steps to see this goal of hers come to fruition, but things have changed now. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 21 has taken Sarada the closest she’s ever been to the position of Hokage. Sarada finally tapped into the Mangekyo Sharingan, and needless to say, she is incredibly overpowered. In fact, it can easily be said that Sarada Uchiha has the strongest Mangekyo Sharingan out there in existence, which is exactly what makes her so dangerous.

It might have just awakened but I know exactly what it is. — Sarada Uchiha to Mitsuki

Fans received a glimpse of Sarada’s powers in the previous Boruto chapter. In Two Blue Vortex chapter 20, Sarada created a few black spheres behind her, but the exact nature of the power wasn’t clear. Now, however, it has been confirmed that Sarada does truly wield the power of the Black Holes. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 21, fans saw Sarada Uchiha use this power to redirect all of Ryu’s attacks. Her Black Holes can attract any and all matter that she wants them to attract. In other words, Sarada can pick and choose what she wants the Black Holes to suck and what she doesn’t. At the same time, Sarada also shocked the fans simply by showing the ability to use multiple black holes at the same time. In the fight against Ryu, she used at least 4, which is staggering.

Sarada Defeats Ryu Using Ohirume

Sarada’s Ultimate Jutsu Demolished Ryu

It is difficult to believe that someone in theBorutoworldcan one-shot a Shinju, but Sarada is living proof that this is very much possible. Previously, Boruto Uzumaki used his powers to launch a Uzuhiko on Hidari, and even though he unleashed a very powerful strike, he failed to kill Hidari. Kawaki had to then step in and deliver the final blow. Sarada did what the two of them combined to do all by herself and with no prior training, meaning she might just have the strongest ability of the three.

Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume! — Sarada Uchiha

When it comes to Sarada’s strongest Justu, fans saw her utilize something called Ohirume. This made Ryu the target of her Black Hole and then, he was sucked in by the power. The Black Hole continued to expand in size until it completely devoured Ryu, and eventually, Sarada made the black hole explode, blowing Ryu up to bits and leaving behind nothing but pieces. Ryu’s Thorn Soul Bulb was also left on the side, and now, Shinki can very well be saved.

Boruto Joins The Battle

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 21 also gave the fans a good look at Boruto Uzumaki. While Ryu was dealt with,Matsuri still needed one more blow before she lost. After all, Konohamaru did fail at the mission of killing her. Boruto, knowing that Konohamaru could die, decided to join the battle immediately and he killed Matsuri. This was a good move, but it might not be the smartest, especially knowing that Jura, the strongest Shinju, has now located him and that he will be on the move too.

Things are going to get chaotic in Boruto next month, as a battle between Boruto and Jura could unfold.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 is set for its official release on June 07, 2025. The release time of the chapter is 10 AM EST/ 3 PM UTC. As always, fans can read the chapter officially for free on the Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump apps.
