In the Land of Wind, the author was clearly setting up Sarada Uchiha finding her true self, acknowledging her own feelings, and accepting them as well.

Sarada Uchiha first awakened her Mangekyo Sharinganbefore the timeskip, so fans always knew that she would eventually tap into this power. It was more of a question of when she would do it that left the fans wondering. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20, Sarada Reawakened this power to help her special someone, while in TBV Chapter 21, she showcased the power of eyes for good, crushing even someone as strong as Ryu.
In doing so, Sarada also confirmed thatshe has feelings for Boruto Uzumaki, and now, she isn’t going to hide from those feelings anymore. Sarada will most definitely acknowledge how she feels, and those feelings are precisely what helps her find her true self and power herself up even more. As mentioned earlier, Boruto Uzumaki has two potential partners for the future, those being Sumire Kakei and Sarada Uchiha.The likeliest outcome here is that Boruto Uzumakiwill end up with Sarada. Even though Sumire is a decent character, she is not the heroine of Boruto. Arada is a widely beloved character and given the importance of the two, it is almost inevitable that they will end up together at the end of the story.
