Elite Zombies can be quite the threat inBlack Ops 6 Zombies, and Shattered Veil may be generous enough to leave the Amalgams behind, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a new king in town, or in this case, a new king in the mansion.Shattered Veil introduces playersto the Elder Disciple, a tough enemy that spawns every few rounds to wreak havoc and chaos.
Dealing with the Elder Disciple inBlack Ops 6 Zombiesunprepared could easily cause players immense grief, unless they know which Ammo Mods tobring to the fight, and what weapons will easily deal with these great monsters.
What Ammo Mods Are Effective Against Elder Disciples?
Elder Disciples have an elemental weakness to Dead Wire and Light Mend, meaning that either of these two Ammo Mods is the most effective to use against them. BothDead Wire and Light Mendcan be acquired on any normal bullet gun (excluding wonder weapons) from The Arsenal, a machine easily found in multiple locations throughout Shattered Veil.
These Ammo Mods can be acquired for 500 Salvage, which is relatively easy to farm up through zombie kills, and made even easier with a Suppressor attachment to generate more Salvage. Dead Wire has no level requirement, but neither does Light Mend. For Elder Disciples, Light Mend is the recommended Ammo Mod, for it procs far quicker, and deals a massive surge of damage. Light Mend can also drop healing orbs for players in a pinch.
Outside of using Ammo Mods, theRay Gun Mark 2-W and Ray Gun Mark 2-P are extremely effective thanks to their rapid fire rate, increased elemental damage, and capabilities when Pack-a-Punched, so if players are not interested in normal guns, definitelyupgrade the Ray Gun Mark 2.
How do Elder Disciples Work?
TheElder Disciple will spawn from Round 16 onwards, and will usually spawn every 3 rounds after Round 16. Classed as an Elite Zombie, the Elder Disciple will drop plenty of Essence and occasionally a Scorestreak when killed. As for its attacks, theElder Disciple spawns and buffs zombies to make them faster and attack harder. The Elder Disciple will also spawn in Parasites, which can tackle zombies and turn them into Doppelghasts, and those Doppelghasts, if left unattended, can turn into Amalgams. As such, the Elder Disciple must become the top priority when it spawns, and the easiest way to kill it will be to pop an Aether Shroud or throw a Decoy/Cymbal Monkey to distract regular zombies while dealing with this Disciple.
