When Does Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Release?
Season 3 Reloaded forBlack Ops 6andWarzonewillrelease on Thursday, May 1, at 9 AM PTacross Battle.net, Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The launch of the mid-season will require a title update for bothBlack Ops 6andWarzone, requiring a full installation before players can dive in. Ahead of its release,pre-downloads for the update will roll out for Battle.net and consoles, allowing players to install the content early and jump in straightaway on day one.
The release of Season 3 Reloaded will alsomark the end of theBlack OpsTribute Event, meaning players will only have until May 1 to unlock the John Black Ops Operator skin and other rewards before they are gone forever. What To Expect For Season 3 Reloaded Of Black Ops 6 & Warzone
Multiplayer Maps & Modes
Season 3 Reloaded will finally mark the release of the second half of maps for Season 3, two of which will be brand-new maps, with the third being a map variant.Signal and Havenare the two brand-new battlegrounds, with Signal serving as both a Strike 6v6 and 2v2 small-scale map set in a numbers station in the Gulf of Mexico. Haven, on the other hand, enters Core 6v6 playlists, taking players to a KGB safehouse.
Blazetown also arrivesfor a limited time, serving as a Nuketown variant to celebrate a 420-themed event. Aside from maps, players can also enjoy unique modes,such as Joint Operations—a gauntlet, moshpit-style experience where players progress through five different modes all in the same match, with unique modifiers such as increased health, third-person mode, low gravity, and more.
Additional Weapons & Loadout Options
If the roster ofModern Warfareoptions wasn’t enough for players to delve into with the launch of Season 3, the mid-season update also brings additional weapons. Joining the fray ofreturning weapons like the Kilo 141, theLadra Submachine Gunenters the scene, based on the Spectre Submachine Gun first introduced in the originalBlack Ops. An additional conversion kit also arrives with Season 3 Reloaded:the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion, turning the semi-automatic Assault Rifle into a full-auto mini-rocket launcher.
Arriving alongside both weapons isthe Vendetta Perk, a Multiplayer Recon-based perk that will surely be an excellent pick for those looking for revenge. When equipped, players who are killed will have their killer’s last known location marked for a short duration, and eliminating them will reward players with a score bonus toward their Scorestreaks. All additional loadout options will beearned through limited-time events, but willenter the Armory once Season 3 comes to a close.
Shattered Veil Directed Mode & Zombies Updates
Directed Mode for the Shattered Veillaunches with Season 3 Reloaded on May 1 at 9 AM PT, allowing players to progress through the Shattered Veil Main Quest with guided objectives and round caps. Directed Mode offers exclusive rewards for completing the Main Quest, but its arrival will also mark the end of players' ability to earn the Classified Calling Card through the standard mode. That’s not all—Season 3 Reloaded also marksthe arrival of the Ray Gun Mark II across all maps via the Mystery Box.This allows players to wield the iconic weapon in maps like Liberty Falls and Terminus, adding more variety for those revisiting earlier maps. The Zombie Snacks Limited-Time Mode also launches during the Season 3 Reloaded window, alongsidethe return of the Frost Blast Field Upgrade, which freezes enemies in place with a frost-based area-of-effect attack.
Warzone Ranked Play & Verdansk Updates
One of the biggest things to look forward to on theWarzoneside of things isthe debut of Battle Royale Ranked Play for Verdansk.Players can dive into Verdansk Ranked for the launch of Season 3 Reloaded in trios action, competing against 150 players to earn some exclusive rewards.
Players diving into Verdansk for mainline Battle Royale playlists can also look forward to some exclusive updates, such as small map changes, including additional Vertical Ascenders to make reaching elevated portions of certain POIs much easier, the arrival ofa moving train that patrols around Verdansk, and Train Station finally opens up. The Bunker Buster also returns for the mid-season update, along withthe Specialist Perk Packagefor both Buy Stations and within certain locations.
That’s not all, as players can look out for additional modes during the launch window of Season 3 Reloaded, notablythe debut of High Trip Resurgence and Massive Resurgence.As for smaller updates, the Triumph TF 250-X Motorcycle will arrive in Verdansk, bringing additional fast travel options.
Limited-Time Events & Rewards
Wrapping up the last line of Season 3 content for the mid-season update is the debut of additional events. These include boththe Blaze of Glory EventandtheCall of DutyEndowment Got Your Six Event,two limited-time events that players can participate in for free.Both events will allow players to earn exclusive rewards, including the Highly Decorated Camo.
Season 3 Reloaded will also see the debut of a brand-newEvent Pass dubbed the High Art Pass, featuring a free track that rewards players with the Ladra Submachine Gun, Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion, and more. Players can also upgrade to the premium track for 1,100 COD Points, which includes the Seth Rogen Operator Skin, two Weapon Blueprints, and additional rewards.
