Peerless SMG
The Peerless SMG is one of the bestAtomfallweapons for players who don’t avoid combat. Witha high rate of fire and decent damage, the Peerless SMG can rip through enemies before they get a chance to remark on your presence, let alone respond with shots of their own.
Where To Get Peerless SMG
The Peerless SMG can be found in several places throughoutAtomfall, including the Protocol Documents Chest in the Village Hall, Nora Thorndyke’s trader inventory, and on the bodies of some Protocol soldiers.
Broadside Auto 5
The Broadside Auto 5 is arguably the best shotgun inAtomfallbecause of its high rate of fire. Most shotguns inAtomfallonly grant one or two shots per reload, while the Broadside Auto 5 can fire multiple rounds back to back before requiring a reload.
Where To Get Broadside Auto 5
The Broadside Auto 5 is equipped by most Protocol soldiers in and around the Skethermoor Prison, in southwest Skethermoor. Though you may find some as ground loot, your best bet to get a Broadside Auto 5 quickly is to kill soldiers who wield it.
Molotov Cocktail
The Molotov Cocktail is one of two grenades inAtomfallthat are useful in a huge variety of situations. The blanket of fire covers a massive area compared to more localized grenades like the Nail Bomb, and its high initial damage and ticking Fire damage works well against practically every enemy type in the game. Be careful, though – it explodes on hit, so make sure nothing is in your way the bottle can get stuck on.
Where To Get Molotov Cocktail
You can find the Molotov Cocktail grenadeby disarming Molotov trapsthroughout the world (especially near Outlaw-heavy areas), in ground loot and containers throughout the world, and by crafting them with the Molotov Cocktail recipe.
M. 1911
Generally, pistols inAtomfallare strong because of their high accuracy, good range, and high damage. Players with good aim can headshot enemies with ease with a Pistol, but what makes the M. 1911 one of the best weapons inAtomfallis its fast reload speed and rate of fire.
There are plenty of pistols that will serve players well enough, but the M. 1911 beats them all because of these attributes.
Where To Get M. 1911 Pistol
The M. 1911 pistol can be found in several locations, including in the Conservatory of Datlow Hall in Casterfell Woods,the Protocol Field Station, and the Vehicle Storage Bunker (both in Skethermoor).
Sword
One of the most unique weapons inAtomfallis surely the Sword. An homage to the myth of Excalibur, the Sword has a fast attack speed, deals high damage, and even causes targets to Bleed on hit. There is only one of these in the game, so once you find it, be sure to keep it in yourinventory or in Pneumatic Storage.
How To Get The Sword
The Sword can be found inCasterfell Woodsjust northeast of the Druid Camp and Druid Castle atcoordinates 20.9E, 86.5N. Look for the Sword in the Stone by the riverbank, and hold down the input while highlighting the sword to pull it out – and break the blade.
Falkirk Battle Rifle
The Falkirk Battle Rifle is the bestAtomfallgun before you acquire the Modified JM-3. This incredibly powerful long-range rifle has high damage, great accuracy, low weapon sway, and a high rate of fire. Really, the only downside of this weapon is that it doesn’t come with a scope.
How To Get Falkirk Battle Rifle
Players can find the Falkirk Battle Rifle in several locations, but most commonly by killing Protocol soldiers around the Skethermoor Prison. You can also find it inside the Protocol Field Station (in Skethermoor), and in some B.A.R.D. crates in other Protocol locations.
Axe
The best melee weapon inAtomfallis the two-handed Axe. It’s easy to get, deals a huge amount of damage, andwill kill almost every enemywith one heavy attack (R1/RB). It has a slow attack speed, so expect to spend a full second or two recovering after every heavy attack. However, when mixed with the Kick to keep enemies away, as long as you hit, you’re almost guaranteed to kill.
How To Get The Axe
Axes can be found in a number of locations throughoutAtomfall, including the bodies of Druids that wield them, embedded in tree stumps, and as ground loot in camps and buildings in Skethermoor, Slatten Dale, and Casterfell Woods.
Military Grenade
The Military Grenade is the best grenade inAtomfall, but they are relatively rare. Like the Makeshift Grenade, the Military Grenade deals an explosion of damage when it explodes, but while Makeshift Grenades deal good damage in a small area, the Military Grenade deals enormous damage in a wide area.
The explosion from a Military Grenade is usually enough to kill all but the strongest enemies in the game (like Thralls). Keep one of these on-hand to quickly deal with entire enemy groups all at once – you’ll get an Achievement if you are able to kill five enemies at once with the same explosion.
How To Get Military Grenade
The Military Grenade can be acquired by trading with various traders throughout the game, most notably Corporal “Bootsy” Hughes, and in containers throughout Protocol areas, including the Protocol Documents Chest.
Bow
The Bow is an incredibly strong, and incredibly useful, weapon for players on the default or Veteran difficulty. Though it has a very slow rate of fire, as you have to re-dock and draw each arrow, fully-charged shots from a Bow will kill every enemy in the game – if you hit their head.
What makes this one of the bestAtomfallweapons is not necessarily its capacity for instant kills, though. The real strength of the Bow is in its stealthiness. Unlike guns and grenades, killing an enemy with a silent arrow will not attract enemy attention to your location, especially if you are already hidden.
How To Get Bow
To get the Bow,Atomfallplayers must either kill Druids that wield them (who are also a great source for more Arrow ammo),find one in the Armory of the Skethermoor Prison, or find them as ground loot throughout Casterfell Woods.
Modified JM-3
The Modified JM-3 is the best gun inAtomfallbecauseit comes with a scope. you may’t zoom in the scope, but because it’s the only gun with any kind of sight, players will have a much easier time picking off enemies with headshots from long range.
This bestAtomfallweapon has very high damage, very high accuracy, very high rate of fire, and, of course, a sight. The only problem is that you have togo quite far out of the way to find its location.
How To Get Modified JM-3
To get the Modified JM-3, head toSkethermoorto thecoordinates 41.2E, 79.4Nat the northeastern side of the zone. Enter the cave here, then carefully navigate to the left of the cavern with Infection pustules and squeeze through a gap in the rocks. You will find the Modified JM-3 next to a body and some ammo in a secluded area beyond this gap.
