This comes at the cost of having high SPD, which, fortunately, is not an issue for her playstyle.
However, when it comes to light cones, Castorice’s options are limited due to her reliance on HP scaling—a trait not shared by other Remembrance characters currently available. As a result, she cannot effectively usemost of Aglaea’s top light cone choices, despite belonging to the same role and path. Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by24%. When the wearer’s memosprite uses an ability on any ally target, increases all ally targets' DMG dealt by16%, lasting for 3 turn(s).
While Victory In a Blink’s effects may not fully align with Castorice’s HP-scaling mechanics, it can still act as a serviceable placeholder for players lacking stronger light cone alternatives. Its Crit DMG boost provides some value for increasing her overall damage, but the lack of synergy with her unique playstyle limits its effectiveness compared to more tailored options. Furthermore, Castorice won’t be able to benefit from the second part of it’s passive, since her memosprite doesn’t target allies.
Victory In a Blink remains one of the few entirely F2P light cones available to Remembrance characters as of now, and that makes it essentially the best entirely F2P light cone to consider. However, players should be aware that this light cone will not outperform high base HP 5-star stat stick options, and is better suited forcharacters like Remembrance MC, who is one of the best team members for Castorice as well.
3Any Light Cone From Other Paths With High Base HP
Due to the limited light cone options tailored to Castorice’s unique HP-scaling mechanics, players unwilling to use a Battle Pass light cone or invest in her signature light cone will need to rely on alternatives with high base HP from other paths. While these light cones won’t be able to provide her any passive effects, they can still serve as effective stat sticks by providing the necessary HP to amplify her damage output. Though not ideal, such options remain viable placeholders.
Among these choices, 5-star light cones with high base HP are the best options, as they provide a significant boost to her performance even without synergy. Some of these can be obtained through the standard pool, offering accessible alternatives for players. As of now,Mydei’s signature light coneboasts the highest base HP, making it a top consideration for Castorice. Despite being locked behind the Battle Pass and therefore inaccessible to F2P players, Sweat Now, Cry Less proves to be a solid option for Castorice. It provides Crit Rate and DMG buffs for both her and her memosprite, whichalign with her DPS roleand enhance her damage-dealing capabilities. While it doesn’t provide any HP passive, it’s base HP is also quite decent, which makes it the best 4-star light cone choice for Castorice for players who purchase Battle Pass.
However, it’s worth noting that due to Castorice’s ascension bonuses and optimal relic setups naturally providing Crit Rate, players using this light cone may find themselves capping on this stat fairly easily. This opens up opportunities to exclusively focus on HP and Crit DMG through relic sub-stats, but compared to her signature, will still fall behind on the DMG potential.

When the wearer’s memosprite disappears, advances the wearer’s action by12%. This effect can only trigger up to 1 time, and the trigger count resets every time the wearer uses Ultimate.
Castorice’s signature light cone, Make Farewells More Beautiful, is unquestionably the best choice for her, as it is specifically designed to complement her mechanics. Despite lacking any Crit-related bonuses, its high base HP as well as its passive effects providing buffs like an additional 30% max HP boost, turn advancement for Castorice, and the ability for both her and her summon to ignore the target’s defense are quite valuable. These features greatly enhance her overall performance, solidifying this light cone as her optimal choice.
However, due to its highly specialized nature, Make Farewells More Beautiful lacks versatility as a general-purpose Light Cone for Remembrance DPS characters. While it is ideal for Castorice, its niche design limits its future-proofing compared to broader alternatives. However, for fans of Castorice aiming to maximize her potential, this light cone remains an essential investment.
