Version 2.5 ofReverse: 1999introduces players to a DPS unit that works at P0 and P5. Liang Yue is a 6-star unit under the Star Afflatus that deals Reality DMG.She essentially works as a DPS unitthat also enhances her teammates' incantations. She can also work as a Carry that deals Follow-Up Attack through her Summon, Qiangliang, when the team uses up their cards.
As a Summon, Qiangliang grants a variety of effects, like extending the duration of the team buff or ranking up skills. She has an insane number of skills, which is great in the long run, however, she can be very AP hungry.Liang Yueis also very versatile, so if players are planning to get her, here’s how they canbuild Liang Yue inReverse: 1999.
Liang Yue Skills in Reverse: 1999, Explained
Liang Yue’s first skill is a basic Reality DMG dealing, one that can be enhanced when in her [Arise, Qiangliang] status. Her Skill 2 is a buff-type skill that essentially grants [Guardian’s Blessing] to whichever teammate. The good thing is that repeatedly casting it will stack its duration, and the incantation grants an extra [Peace Talon].Her Ultimate is a mass attackof sorts that deals AoE DMG to all enemies.
This is the skill that activates [Arise, Qiangliang] that has changes to incantations. Certain incantations in the right zones will rank up, incantations in the left zone gain duration expansion, and [Swift, Resolve] changes to [Guardian’s Resolve] once the Ultimate effect ends. After enhancing Liang Yue to Insight I, players will gain access to Qiangliang’s active effect, and using a card will grant aGreen TalonorRed Talon, or half based on the spelldock. There are three different Talon effects, and they all depend on:
Once6 Talons are accumulated, they will be depleted to power up a special attack that Qianliang will release. However, this attack has different forms as it depends on how many Talons have been collected.
Best Psychubes For Liang Yue in Reverse: 1999
As with mostReverse: 1999characters, Liang Yue’s signature Psychube,Ready on Call, is her best-in-slot as it grants her a significant amount of Crit Rate and Crit DMG. Players can get it for free from thein-game event shop; however, since it is limited, you will need to acquire it as fast as you can. It’s a great Psychube as it is based on her Follow-Up attack mechanic.Stray Off The Pathis your next best option, and you can get it from the Psychube shop if you don’t have it. The Psycube makes use of Liang Yue’s FUA and gives her increased Incantation Might and Crit DMG.
If you find it difficult to obtain the above-mentioned Psychubes, you can substitute them with eitherBlasphemer of the NightorLong Night Talk. You’ll need the right teammates for Blasphemer of the Night, but for Long Night Talk, you can make do with a buffer build on Liang Yue.
Best Resonance Build For Liang Yue in Reverse: 1999
You don’t need to rush when it comes to securing a Resonance Build for Liang Yue, as she works perfectly fine on a Crit Rate build. You’ll need to make sure she’s running onGenuinity frequency until R12. After that, if you want, you’re able to switch to a more Crit DMG-centered Resonance. Feel free to switch between the two as they both work just fine on her.
Best Team Compositions For Liang Yue in Reverse: 1999
Since Liang Yue has a hybrid DPS, Sub DPS, and Support role, she’s theoretically versatile in almost every team. However, you do want to maximise her damage and slot her in with characters that won’t make her lose out on her AP negative moments.
Liang Yue + 37 + Fatutu + Flutterpage
This is Liang Yue’s most comfortable team in the roster thatReverse: 1999players can make. This is your go-to Follow-Up Attack (FUA) squad as Flutterpage gives that extra 1 AP, and Fatutu handles healing.37, on the other hand, will be in your DPS/Sub DPSslot along with Liang Yue, as the two of them will bounce off each other. 37 essentially only works well through her team’s FUA.
Liang Yue + Anjo Nala + Lopera + Vila
This team is also quite OP since Liang Yue and Anjo Nala are FUA queens. They, too, will bounce off each other’s attacks, and Anjo Nala will also benefit from Liang Yue and Lopera’s buffs. Vila is a great addition for Liang Yue and Anjo Nala as well, since both of them are quite AP greedy. She can also heal passively and offer Critical buffs that Liang Yue can use.
Liang Yue + Mercuria + Lopera + Ms. NewBabel
This will be your basic run-of-the-millteam that’s good for survivability.Mercuria will act as a passive buffer with Lopera, whereas Ms. NewBabel is your tank. She’ll keep the team surviving with her shield. Lopera can also be used as a Sub DPS in this case, as all you have to do is change her build to suit each fight.
