8Scooby-Doo

Mystery-Solving Sidekick

Scooby-Doois one of the most famous fictional dogs in the world, so, as is expected, there are quite a few versions of him inThe Sims 4gallery. This take on Scooby from Simmer ineGEE is one of the best, thanks to it being a faithful recreation of him that doesn’t go too far with the cartoony features.

This dog Sim has Scooby’s trademark blue collar and light brown coat, but ineGEE has also made the effort to recreate the black patches on his fur and his black eyebrows. He has that cartoon look, but it doesn’t cross over into creepy territory, making for the perfect Scooby-Doo Sim.

7Lassie

A Classic Hero

Lassie is an iconic dog in pop culture, as they were the star of 19 seasons of their very own television show, along with various feature films. The faithful collie has been recreated excellently here by Simmer SimShizo.

The awesome thing about this Lassie Sim is that SimShizo painted the details of the coat by hand with the Create a Pet editing system. This makes for a more realistic look for the dog Sim, bringing it closer to its famous fictional counterpart.

6Slinky Dog

Stretchy Boy

Slinky is a toy dogfrom theToy Storyanimated movie serieswho, as his name suggests, is part slinky. He has front and back paws, but his middle and tail are a springy slinky, making him a particularly fun and unique toy from the series.

Slinky is obviously a difficult dog to recreate inThe Sims 4due to his slink, but Simmer sarahgoddard640 has done an awesome job at making a Slinky Dog Sim that is accurate to his toy design. The cool thing about this Sim are the slinky elements of his torso and tail, which have been painted on. It’s a hard effect to get right, but this design nails it.

5Toto

Not in Kansas Anymore

Toto is another dog that has left a significant paw print on pop culture. This is thanks to hissignificant role inThe Wizard of Ozas Dorothy’s trusted cute and cuddly companion.

Toto has been recreated excellently by Simmer suzannesuzysuz, who has perfected his adorable Yorkshire Terrier features and wide-eyed cuteness. The different shades of his dark brown fur are particularly impressive here, giving Toto some texture and making him look even fluffier. The unique pose that Toto does here was created by a different Simmer called KassSimsDesign, so shout out to them for making such a sweet and accurate pose for him.

4Lady and the Tramp

Two for the Price of One

Lady and the Tramp are two of themost famous Disney dogs in their film history, and Simmer VeePyre has created both of these pups with this dog Sim household.

Both breeds of dog (mutt for Tramp and cocker spaniel for Lady) have been altered amazingly well to make them look the same as they do in the movie. From Tramp’s floppy ears to Lady’s long, pretty eyelashes, these beloved characters are well-designed and replicated, making them a must for fans of the original animated film.

3The Annoying Dog

Cutely Irritating

Fans of the gameUndertaleare sure to remember the Annoying Dog character. As the name suggests, the Annoying Dog inserts itself into the game at random moments to be a general nuisance to the player. Despite this irritating nature, the Annoying Dog is loved by gamers due to its hilariously basic design and surprisingly catchy theme tune.

Players who want to add a version of the Annoying Dog to theirSims 4game can do so with this recreation of the pup by Simmer Lizzie680036. The Annoying Dog’s design inUndertaleis incredibly basic. It’s just a small, white dog, so it could be interpreted as any breed. The choice to make them a Pomeranian is perfect, matching the dog’s energy and vibe excellently. The dog has some of the more difficult dog traits in the game, too — Stubborn, Glutton, and Troublemaker — so players will truly get the full Annoying Dog experience.

2Bolt

Super Pup

Boltis one of the more underrated animated Disney films, but its canine protagonist is undoubtedly one of the cutest pups in Disney history. Bolt seems to be a white German Shepherd, but he is much smaller than those breeds tend to grow to. This makes him look a bit like a forever puppy, so, of course, he is insanely cute.

Simmer BUGUSTA has recreated Bolt fantastically here. The dog has Bolt’s black lightning bolt mark painted on his side, as well as his pointed ears and broad nose. He has been created from a small dog breed rather than a white German Shepherd, which makes him more accurate in size than he is in the film. The only issue with this dog Sim is that the gender is a girl rather than a boy. However, if players don’t mind having a female Bolt as a pet, this is a great fictional dog to download inThe Sims 4.

1Amaterasu Okami

Living Legend

Okami Amaterasu is a white wolf dog from theOkamivideo game. Despite being a wolf, she is being included on this list as she is a particularly noteworthy character in her own right, as well as a beautiful fictional wolf-dog.

Amaterasu is the Shinto sun goddess from Japanese folklore, and she takes the form of the wolf-dog in the game. She has a striking design thanks to her white coat and unique red markings, and this has been recreated beautifully with this Sim dog version of her by Simmer Asharia. The markings have been recreated by hand, making this a particularly impressive fictional dog character inThe Sims 4.
