Azura’s Star is perhaps one of the most important Daedric Artifacts that can be obtained inOblivion Remastered. With this relic acquired, players essentially have an infinite Soul Gem that will never disperse from their inventory, but to obtain it is a mission in itself.

Azura’s Star is a reward from completing theOblivion RemasteredDaedric Quest related to the Shrine of Azura, so players are going to want to bring armor and weapons that are confident enough to slay vampires, along with a decent level of spell mastery, so that they can effectively use this great item.

Where to Find the Shrine of Azura in Oblivion Remastered

to start the Daedra Quest involving Azura and her artifact, players must first find the Shrine of Azura. Players can find Azura’s Shrine in the far north region of Chedyinhal, beyond Lake Arrius in the Jerral Mountains. Once players have made it to the Shrine of Azura, they will be able to commune with the altar, but only if they are past Level 2 and have Glow Dust as an offering.

Azura can only be interacted with between 6 AM and 8 PM.

How to Get Glow Dust in Oblivion Remastered

To commune with Azura, players must offer Glow Dust at her altar. Glow Dust can be obtained in a few ways, but to make things easy, here’s a table of allthe vendorswhere Glow Dust can be purchased:

Calindil

Mystic Emporium, Imperial City Market District (Must have +50Mercantile Skill)

Glow Stone is also commonly looted from the Will-o'-the-Wisps enemies, and there are a few that can be found in the north and west areas of Azura’s Shrine, but this requires the completion of the Main Quest: Blood of the Daedra. It’s important to note that Will-o'-the-Wisp enemies can only be killed by silver, enchanted, or Daedric weapons.

How to Kill All Vampires in the Gutted Mine in Oblivion Remastered

How to Access the Hidden Room in the Gutted Mine

Once 1 Glow Stone has been collected, head back to Azura’s Shrine and interact with the altar. Azura will now speak to the player and request that they go to the Gutted Mine to kill the 5 vampires trapped inside. The Gutted Mine is found just west of Azura’s Shrine, and it’s a good idea to bringPotions of Cure Diseaseand plenty of Healing Potions, as the vampires within are pretty dangerous and caninfect players with vampirismwith every few hits.

The best method for killing all the vampires in the Gutted Mine is to use weapons with Fire Damage, as Vampires have a 50%Weakness to Fire. It’s also a good idea to lure them out one by one, and even exit the Gutted Mine to bring them outside where the sun can damage them. Fighting the vampires one at a time is the safest method, as some of them use magic, whereas others use shields, two-handed weapons, and other methods of attack.

The final two vampires will always be together, and they can be found behind a hidden wall that’s activated at the west wall by activating the chain found on the wall. Upon killing all 5 vampires, players can now go back to Azura’s Shrine to speak with the Daedric Prince and receive their reward.

How to Use Azura’s Star in Oblivion Remastered

After killing all vampires in the Gutted Mine and returning to Azura, players will be given Azura’s Star, a Daedric Artifact that acts as aGrand Soul Gem that can be recharged infinitely. However, Azura’s Star is given to players while empty, so players will need to charge it themselves. Players can easily charge Azura’s Star with the use of weapons that have theSoul Trapenchantment. While this enchantment can be placed on generic weapons, the incredible Umbra Blade will have Soul Trap automatically, and is a great choice for farming souls that will automatically be placed into Azura’s Star first. To empty Azura’s Star, simply use it on any enchanted weapon or armor.

Another way to use Azura’s Star is to fill up the soul gem through the Soul Trap spell. However, to use the Soul Trap spell, players must be at least Apprentice Level (25) in Mysticism. The Soul Trap spell is also purchased from any Mages Guild in Cyrodiil, and here’s each of them:
