After a previous patch addressedAtomfall’s frustrating no-sound bug, this new round of fixes continues to refine gameplay. For players on PC, this includes an upgrade for mouse controls that had been causing some stuttering and moving around sporadically. Players should also have an easier time getting around the world, as new fixes prevent the camera angle from swinging around wildly after the autosave feature initiates, and the game’s map should no longer get stuck on one region after a player has traveled out of it.

There have also been some changes that relate to specific regions.Atomfall’s Interchange areahas received three separate bug fixes that will make it easier to traverse the underground mechanical labyrinth. A problem with the Lower Robotics area, which had been locking players out even after completing the puzzle there, has been resolved; players will now receive the correct punch cards for the facility, and the spore cloud in Medical will not kill player characters if they don’t have enough health or are not carrying enough healing items to survive the damage it would normally cause. Additional region-specific changes regarding visual and potentially progress-halting bugs have been made to Wyndham Village, Casterfell Woods, and Skethermoor.

Additionally, there have been some changes made toweapons inAtomfall. Some players had been experiencing problems with ammo loss after they chose to drop a ranged weapon that was logged to one of their equipped weapon slots, but the latest patch should ensure that players retain their ammunition even if they decide to clear space by getting rid of a gun or bow. There is also a visual improvement to explosive lures that will no longer display the pins on the devices after they have been pulled. Along with these changes, the Modified JM-3 and its variants' descriptions now correctly describe the gun as fully automatic.
