Kamon Crestsare one of many types of collectibles you can find inAssassin’s Creed Shadows.These clan crests represent many of the most powerful Daimyo, and are usually hidden deep within the castles and forts of Japan. There are nine Kamon Crests in total, and finding them all will complete the collectible side-quest “A Collection of Crests.” In this guide, we’ll show youwhere to find all nine Kamon Crests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Where to Find Every Kamon Crest in AC Shadows
How to Start A Collection of Crests in AC Shadows:
To start “A Collection of Crests,” you’ll first need togain access to Yasuke as a playable character. Once you’ve done that, you’ll want to visit Kyoto, Yamashiro as Yasuke. Look for the quest marker in the southern section of the city, just below the southeast corner of Honnoji Temple. There, you’ll meet Ota Gyuichi, the former scribe to Oda Nobunaga, and an acquaintance of Yasuke’s.
Speaking to Ota Gyuichi will initiate “A Collection of Crests,” and set you on the path to finding all nine Kamon Crests inAC Shadows.
If you want to check on your progress, you may hover over the quest marker that remains atOta Gyuichi’s location. There, you’ll see exactly how manyKamon Crestsyou’ve collected so far.

Oda Clan Kamon
You must use Yasuke to collect this Kamon.The Oda Clan crest is found in theFukushimaRuins, which are found at the north end of the long, slender island on the western side of Osaka Castle in Izumi Settsu. You’ll find the crest at the bottom of a ruined guard tower. Simply use Yasuke to push the barrier blocking the door, and pick the crest up from the ground.
Bessho Clan Kamon
TheBessho Clancrest is located inMiki Castle, Harima. It is found in a small structure near the center of the western side of the castle grounds. If you use Observation on the western side of the castle, you’ll see the white dot from pretty far away.
Shibata Clan Kamon
TheShibata Clancrest is located withinGenbao Fort in Mount Uchikanao, Wakasa. You’ll find the crest in the upper levels of the main castle. Be careful when you head to get this crest, as both Samurai Daisho are higher than level 40.The Silver Traderoccupies this fort, which is likely why the Daisho are leveled higher than the object you acquire in the Legendary Chest.
Hashiba Clan Kamon
TheHashiba Clancrest is located inHiraiyama Fort, in theWarfieldsprovince ofHarima. When you enter the fort, make your way to the northernmost edge of the compound. The crest is in a small room, but it is blocked by a moveable shelf. Pull the shelf back, then go outside and jump in the window the shelf was blocking to collect the crest.
Akiyama Clan Kamon
You can find theAkiyama Clancrest in theUda Matsuyama CastleinUda Matsuyama,Yamato. The Akiyama Kamon is found within the main castle tower, which sits in the eastern corner of the grounds. You’ll need to move a small barrier to collect the crest, so ensure you use Yasuke.
Tsutsui Clan Kamon
You’ll find theTsutsui Clancrest in Koriyama Castle, which sits in the Koriyama province of Yamato. The crest is found behind a moveable barrier in the main castle’s ‘treasure’ chamber, near all the pallets of crafting resources that you can smuggle out with scouts.
Akechi Clan Kamon
The Akechi Clan crest is located inSakamoto Castle, which is found on the southwestern shore of Lake Biwa in Omi. This Kamon is found in the main castle, but you have to ensure to use the stairs on the southern side of the building, above the castle treasure room.
Ikko Ikki Clan Kamon
TheIkko Ikki Clancrest is inNegoroji, Kii, at theNegoroji Kunren-ba. This is a small POI just south of theNegoroji Temple Grounds. You’ll find the crest on the first floor of a guard tower that is just below the ‘Negoroji’ in Negoroji Kunren-ba on the map.
Niwa Clan Kamon
TheNiwa Clancrest is located inTsuruga Castle, which sits in the heart ofSotomo Gate,Wakasain the northeast corner of the map. The building that contains the Kamon is right next to the building that contains the castle’s Legendary Chest.
