After you begin theKnights of the NineDLC inOblivion Remastered, the first main quest you need to complete is “Pilgrimage.” This quest tasks you with locating 9 Wayshrines – special shrines found throughout Cyrodiil. As these shrines are not marked on the map, they can be quite tricky to find, even with the Pilgrim’s Way map. With this in mind, we’ll show you herehow to find all nine shrines inOblivion Remastered’s “Pilgrimage” quest.

All Pilgrimage Wayshrine Locations in Oblivion Remastered

How to Start Pilgrimage in Oblivion Remastered:

The “Pilgrimage” quest is the first mission you’ll take on afterstarting theKnights of the NineDLCinOblivion Remastered. The conversation with The Prophet in Anvil, who can be found directly across the street from the Chapel of Dibella, will end with the “Pilgrimage” quest automatically starting. The Prophet will give you the Wayshrines Map, which reveals the general location of the nine shrine locations. However, actually finding them can prove to be a bit tricky.

Wayshrine of Arkay Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Arkayis found nestled between Anvil and Kvatch, not far off the road that connects them. If you head west along the main road from Kvatch, you’ll eventually come to a section where it makes a quick turn to the north, which appears as a small bump-shape on the map. If you go slightly northwest from the end of that bump-shape, you’ll encounter the Wayshrine of Arkay tucked away in a small grove of trees.

As you approach the shrine, be careful. There are several wolves that stalk the hills of The Gold Coast.

Wayshrine of Mara Location – Oblivion Remastered

To reach theWayshrine of Mara, fast-travel to theGrateful Pass Stablesoutside the western edge ofSkingrad. The Wayshrine of Mara is very close to the stables, and a great way to mark the location is to look at the S of Skingrad on the map. The shrine is located just below the bottom of the S on the map. you may make a perfect northwestern beeline from the stables and reach that point below the S very quickly.

Wayshrine of Dibella Location – Oblivion Remastered

To find theWayshrine of Dibella, you’ll want to start from theWeynon PrioryoutsideChorral. If you start heading directly south from the priory, you’ll encounter the Dibella’s shrine fairly quickly. The structure sits just below a rise, which makes it difficult to see until you get close. If you check the mark on our map above, simply walk towards that point and you cannot miss it.

Wayshrine of Akatosh Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Akatoshcan be tough to find if you don’t know its exact location, as its location on the Pilgrim’s Way map is slightly deceiving. This shrine sits just off theOrange Road, just south of Bruma. The best way to get there is to fast-travel to the Wildeye Stables outside Bruma, then walk directly south to the Orange Road.

Once you reach the Orange Road, turn and head west. When you are directly south of the center of Bruma, look out for a set of stairs on the north side of the road. Head north up the stairs as it will take you directly toAkatosh Wayshrine.

Wayshrine of Julianos Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Julianosis one of the harder Wayshrines to find, as there are no POIs close by early in the game, so you’ll likely have to come from the Imperial City, or other available fast-travel locations. The location of the shrine is just east of where theRed Ring Road –which circles Imperial City – meets theYellow Road. If you head east from the place where the two roads meet, you’ll find it right on the north side of the road, nearFort Sejanus.

The shrine can be extremely tricky to find in the dark. Use the wait mechanic to pass the time if you are having trouble locating it. Check the above map for the exact location of Julianos' shrine.

Wayshrine of Kynareth Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Kynarethis another tough shrine to locate, as it is far to the east of anything you’ll encounter early in the game. If you look at the Pilgrim’s Way map, you’ll see the marker is near theSilverfish River, which runs north and south near the eastern edge of the map. If you look at the northern section of the river on the map, it looks like an arrow that is pointing west. This shrine is between the lake and the arrow, just north of the tip. It is just about on the I in the word Basin, which is part of the Nibenay Basin title printed on the map.

If you find the Deserted Mine to the north, you can walk directly south and find the shrine that way as well.

Wayshrine of Talos Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Talosis the first of three shrines that run south from Imperial City and line the Upper Niben River. To reach this shrine, you’re able to head south from Imperial City, or return to the area around the Wayshrine of Julianos. If you do the latter, you’ll want to cross the river heading west. After the bridge, turn and head south. Very quickly, you will encounterFort Alessia. Head directly south from Fort Alessia, and you will encounter the shrine in a small dale near the I in Nibeny.

Wayshrine of Zenithar – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Zenitharcan be found in two equally easy ways. First, you can start from the Wayshrine of Talos and ride south along the river. Eventually, you’ll reach theVeyond Cavejust north of Bravil. If you ride past Veyond Cave and look southwest, you’ll easily see the shrine. You can also fast-travel to theBay Roan Stablesoutside Bravil, then ride north along the bay. It’s an easy ride either way, and it’s hard to miss the shrine.

Wayshrine of Stendarr Location – Oblivion Remastered

TheWayshrine of Stendarris located far to the south, in betweenBravilandLeyawiin. Luckily, this shrine is not far from the road, otherwise it would be incredibly difficult to find. The area is a complete swap, with very little in the way of nearby landmarks. The best way to find the shrine is to travel north from Leyawiin, as the road south from Bravil is harder to traverse. Heading north, you’ll encounter theRockmilk Cave. It’s still a ways to the shrine, but once you reach the cave, you’ll know you are getting closer. Check the map above to know exactly where to find the shrine, which sits just off the road on the western side.
